    One skill to improve perhaps now more than ever is developing the ability to create processes, document them, refine them over time, and find ways to continue making workflows efficient yet maintain high standards.

    My biggest issue is marketing and sales when it comes to video production. I’m in the beginning stages trying to build up my portfolio. How to I approach business and tell the exactly how video can help them and how they should push the video to get the most from it?

      Hey great question. 3 step process. 1. Introduce them to what your company does. 2. What you have done for people lately and how you have benefited them. 3. Do an audit on their business and tell them exactly how a product or service can benefit them. And then just have a sign up page or sales page where they can book an appointment or pay you right away

    Adding video strategy to your offerings can really boost your ROI. Rather than drop off the video, help your client get it seen. They make more money, you make more money, and you both grow together.

      Man I've said it in other videos but Audio is not my strongest area. I have wanted to invest in better audio but it's hard to pull the trigger because I'm not sure I'd get the most out of it. I'll defiantly take a look at those options though. Thanks!

      @@bwashmedia yeah man I remember that video, and of course man, if You don't need Audio that much what You already have is solid enough and gets the job done but trust me man, You'll fall in love with how things sound to the point of coming up with things to do with it just to enjoy it 😂😂😂

    I found that phones can handle color treatments and editing of 6k videos now. And most likely your work will be seen on a phone. It’s a win win.

    How much you suggest for laptop? I found one with 64gb ram great graphix card and processor but it’s $1600!!

      Personally I believe with laptops get the most you can afford if you are going to be doing your own editing. The time you save on rendering projects adds up very fast.

    This channel is going downhill to me. Do what you need to in order to pay the bills my guy, but maybe skip the theatrics. “I was able to negotiate a deal”….that is readily available with a simple Google search.

    • @bwashmedia
      @bwashmedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Man I hate to hear you feel that way. I did ask them if I could offer a discount and this is what they gave. My goal is to make the content better so feed back like this, although hard to hear might make it better. I am a real person just trying to help people out. Not just a guy on TH-cam.

    • @evanthecameraman
      @evanthecameraman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bwashmedia 100% understand the TH-cam grind. Maybe I’m just annoyed that most all of the channels I follow went from wholesome content to always trying to find clever ways to connect viewers with sponsors. This planet is just one big advertisement and I hate to see it go that way.

    • @bwashmedia
      @bwashmedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@evanthecameraman I get it. Funny enough the sponsor on the video is Wirestock not Loupedeck. I appreciate the honest feedback. Figuring out how to give free advise that is sponsored by brands and then weaving those brands into the content is the most challenging thing ever. I'll keep trying to get better. Thanks

    • @evanthecameraman
      @evanthecameraman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bwashmedia my unsolicited advice:
      One of the channels I watch often is really upfront. They say things like “Hey everyone I need to pay some bills so for the next minute I’m going to talk to you about a company I use for XYZ and that is willing to support me to make content for you.”
      Wordy but the idea is that it sounds way more genuine and they call a spade a spade without the fluffy bits. 🤷🏻‍♂️
      I still like the content and my original comment has more to do with TH-cam creators in general and not solely due to your specific sponsors.

    • @mribi
      @mribi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel a similar way. At this stage I’m still subscribed and watching videos but it definitely feels a lot more “smash out sponsored content” where a few years ago it was more about filmmmaking. Don’t get me wrong, I love hearing about the business side of things but this felt a bit like an ad.
      No disrespect meant, I’m still a subscriber and understand you have bills to pay.
