Hi Alex, very good looking car which i think is a bargain . Firstly i would give it a wash and mop to see if i could get some of the scratches polished out and see what it is like from there obviously the front bumper would need a respray. Get the alloys refurbished The interior would come up well with a wet vac but i think you will have to get a new rear compartment board as there is no way you will get that paint off, is there paint on the rear seats as well could not tell because of the sunlight? But would not cost much to get the rear seat re trimmed. Wait to hear what the drive issues are if any. There is an X2 Sport Cat s 19 plate on Auto Trader going for 14.5k so 4.5k is a very good buy. All the best.
Drive train issue could it be clutch slipping ? i am sure you will update us . Got to say not fussed on the bmw badges on rear pillars. Hope its not too serious to sort out Alex.
Hi Alex, cheap BMW. If I were you I would strip the front end down to see behind. As for the drivers and rear doors it may be cheaper to find 2 second hand doors. White is a fairly common colour. Also never buy a customer car from Copart. Stick to the ones with an X at the end of the number which means it came from an insurance company.
Bought for 5000 another 5000 in parts, Labour will be hours and hours hopefully you can sell it for 10000 😂 Definitely an ex-drug dealers car and it's cat-s so there goes 25% sale price
It's a very scruffy car and the front bumper and bonnet are not sitting right! 😒 With containers of water, anti-freeze etc I think you may have a leak/head gasket issue....... get some fuel in it and run it up to temperature..... fingers crossed he's not sewn you up!

Seems American to put badges like that on the side. You are right about the clutch I think. I need to drive it to test it though.
Blimey, when you think about the sort of money the seller was asking, they were really taking the Michael.
Dont know what they were thinking asking for 7.5k! Especially in Copart.
That’s a kids highlighter pen, I reckon the car belonged to a drug support worker or something based on the stuff in the boot
I think you are right. Either way...it all went into the bin :)
I think you have bought a lemon mate put it back in the auction and cut your losses
I am going to give it a shot, see how it performs before i invest too much money into it.

Blimey, I bet you’re fun at parties 😂😂😂
Sorry I don't like BMW's ... Fiat 500's are more my thing Paul
No chance! :) Hopefully break even when I need to sell it again.

I am hoping that someone was just very thristy :) But hopefully I can run it soon enough to check that its not leaking coolant.
Terrible decision so much work then always be cat s and a rough example
I agree that its not been well looked after.
