@@edwinzinkniko9190 very doubtful, at least for a few years. I'm quite sure making this game wasn't exactly cheap, while they lost less money with the original NMRIH due to it being a mod of Half-Life 2.
I remember the first one required that you use your ammo sparingly for dangerous situations cause there was not a lot of it, also you can only hold so much stuff so you might have to drop some ammo to hold a quest item. I assume they will keep the infection since that was iconic for the game, having to game end yourself if you were infected to protect your team from a strong infected. The fact that it was a slower paced more methodical but more punishing zombie game made it so cool, considering everything was just like cod zombies at the time I first played it. Bikini or someone else who has played NMRIH2 please let me know, I loved the first game and am hoping it will keep the things I loved about it.
As for ammo, there def was a scarcity to it, when you see me overuse my ammo in the video, thats me being silly, not the game ”allowing” me to. We would regularly run into people having no ammo left in the final stretch. Infection is one of the main mechanics they are working on now in early access yet, it wasnt ready in this build though. I think this definitely felt slower and strategical compared to other zombie games that are more arcade-y. The focus on teamwork was executed better here than the first game IMO.

Like this is what should be expected from Early Access, the jank can be fixed, and given TBS track record I’m not worrief about that. As someone who has played both, it most definitely felt like the old game, just larger scale, and it sorts a lot of issues I feel like the old game had in terms of replayability and lack of teamwork needed.
Considering it uses the UE5 engine probably not unless Torn Banner drops a devkit for people to use, the only reason the original was so easy to mod was because it was a mod for gmod
@@redacted5736Garrys mod is a mod for half life 2 made by Garry. No more room in hell is a mod for half life. They all run on the source engine. The source engine is very old so there's a lot of knowledge about modding on it but it has nothing to do with gmod at all.
Ehhh, I had fun so far, only issue I see is if the devs can keep a good content flow to make sure replayability stays high, it launches with decent replayability in Early Access but theyre gonna have to stay on top of it.
The game looks pretty nice but i read the steam reviews and it Didint sound anywhere near enjoyable i hope there will be more gamemodes like in the first game

The lighting on the game is artificially weak to keep it dark, the first one had a better balance between scary and visible enough to understand what is going on in the screen.

The gameplay you've seen so far is not the early access version. Once the game is released all of the bugs you've seen will be fixed.
What Black Lagoon said, this is pre day 0 patch and many of said issues have already been fixed.
