Getting so irritated with the comments! I love your video and if everyone listens to you they would have no issues with a recipe or ingredients....😅 Do your research people! Thanks for this fabulous video I watch it everytime I make it. My question to you is how do you get your fragrance mixed when you add it before the lotion? Do you stir it while it's cooling or anything? I don't want to shake mine and make a mess with the lid since these are for my business. ❤ Love following you!
Thank you for your generous video and recipe - fellow goat keeper here and I make cheese and soap and will definitely be branching out into Goat Milk Lotion - I've been wanting a recipe like this for years now - have subscribed :))
I made the recipe and I need help 😩, it will not thicken. The milk/water is seperating from the oils. There is a film of the oils (they turned into a thick body butter consistency) and the milky water mixture is just separating beneath them. Have you ever experienced this before? I followed the exact measurements as well as the step by step process in the video. Please help! Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing the recipe. God bless you. What is the shelf life of the lotion, please? As you're making and using you can tell better the shelf life.
Hi there beautiful lady! Awesome recipe! I want to make homemade goat milk lotion. I have a few questions first. Can I use powdered goat milk in place of the raw goat milk? If so, do I use the same amount? Thanks so much! God Bless!
Have you ever added Aloe Vera juice to your goat milk lotion? I would love to try making some with Aloe Vera; however, I am unsure of the ratios. By the way I love your channel and I am so happy to see you are feeling better.
I loved the recipe and turned out so luxurious. One problem I had was mold growth. Did you put your lotion in the fridge straight away? Also, do you have to use it with in a certain time frame?
You are saying preservative and you write on your ingredients preservative it's not helping me as a first timer.. What is the name of the preservative?
I use generic optiphen. I'm a first timer too and my first 2 batches went bad because of 3 mistakes I made. 1. I over mixed it and it turned into a spewing science experiment because in over mixing I created too much air causing air bubbles. 2. I didn't dip anything I was using in bleach water. 3. I think this is the biggest reason. After bottling I sat it in the kitchen table that is in front of a window. I think sunlight made it go rancid! Today I washed and dipped everything 8n bleach water, didn't over mix it, and it's cooling in a bedroom nowhere near a window😁. Good luck to you.
I just calculate the usage rate of the fragrance to how much each bottle holds. I.e. if it’s a 10oz bottle and the usage rate for the fragrance is 1% I would use .01oz of fragrance.
I use the flakes, but you have to melt the steric acid, along with the emulsifying wax and any other hard butters or oils you are going to use. Hope that helps. 🙂
I just used this recipe and I have let it cool but it will not thicken! What did I do wrong! I think I may have added a little to much of the preservative is there anyway to fix it
Does goat milk lotion go bad? I saw a recipe that said it’s only good for 2 weeks without preservatives and must be in fridge and it’s good for 6 weeks with preservatives.
Hi, I have made goat milk lotion for awhile but have taken a few year break. I watched your video to refresh my knowledge before making a batch today. I was curious why you added the fragrance to the lotion bottles and not to the full batch of lotion?
Hey i just found u and love your channel and if u would live to check me out we are called moonlight hill family farm and we raise Nigerian dwarf goats and silkie chickens
Thank you for sharing. Love and greetings from Pretoria, South Africa 😘💐🇿🇦
I use Colloidal Silver as my natural preservative. 💗
at what percentage do you add it?
@@Ruwwbyonce it cools down I add in 1-2 oz depending on how big of a batch I’m making. It’s not really a percentage measurement for me.
@@dnagoddesshealings2212 thank you :)
Love this what brand do you use ,i was using sovereign silver but haven't gotten in 4 months..@@Ruwwby

I loved the recipe and turned out so luxurious. One problem I had was mold growth. Did you put your lotion in the fridge straight away? Also, do you have to use it with in a certain time frame?
Did you use preservative , there should bever be mold ..
You are saying preservative and you write on your ingredients preservative it's not helping me as a first timer.. What is the name of the preservative?
I was gon ask the same thing
I like Optiphen. It seems to be the safest.

Will this cream bring out my main color
What temperature should the milk and oils solution be before adding the preservative?
Do you make goat milk liquid soap?
Thank you for sharing ❤️ great video. I make goat milk soaps and have been wanting to make a goat milk lotion.
I love this! Thank you 😊.
I don't have any goats but could I use gm powder? I do use gm powder when making CP soap 🐐
I would just make sure you dissolve the powder in the water and you should be good.
Also can it only be used for hands or can it be used for face?thanks😃
I use it on my face with no issues. You can always personalize the oils and butters to what works best for your skin type.
How many oz does the linked recipe make?
Thank you so much for this recipe. Is the stearic acid a necessity? I have all the other ingredients.
It is needed, the steric acid is the emulsifier that keeps the water and oils together.
Any ideas for the best/most reasonable place to buy lotion making supplies? thanks in advance.
I order most of my supplies from wholesale supplies plus. ❤️
How many bottle of goat milk cream you get with this measurement
Please can i use evaporated milk?
Hello, awesome vid. Question and I may have missed it but what temp do you need the mixture to drop to before adding the preservative?
I was hoping to figure that out too!
It is dependent on what preservative you use. Most manufacturers will tell you.
Do I use a lotion preservative
Awesome, thank you! Love your videos!
Which wax you have used and preservative
What is the best way to figure out fragrance amount when putting in individual bottles? Thank you. Love your videos
I just calculate the usage rate of the fragrance to how much each bottle holds. I.e. if it’s a 10oz bottle and the usage rate for the fragrance is 1% I would use .01oz of fragrance.

Thank you. I have new baby mom brain and I don’t know why I just couldn’t wrap my head around it 😂🤣
@@ThreeLittleGoats thank you for this recipe. Will you please tell me what preservative you use?
New sub here🤗 thank you for how detailed your video is! I am wondering if you can use goat milk powder in this recipe?
You can, but you just need to make sure it is completely dissolved in water, or it will be grainy feeling.
What do u use for preservatives?
Can I melt all in slow cooker?
Hello thanks for this please is it powder goat milk or liquid milk?
I use whole goat milk in my lotions. I find I can never get a good smooth consistency with powdered.
Stearic Acid..... yours looks like liquid.. I can't seem to find liquid would the flake typ work ....???? Or where did you find the liquid
I use the flakes, but you have to melt the steric acid, along with the emulsifying wax and any other hard butters or oils you are going to use. Hope that helps. 🙂
Lost my ingredients can u please send it to me.
Can goat's milk be replaced with cow's milk?
Thank you
Oh ya i'm from Indonesia
You can substitute it with cows milk 😊
Can you please share your recipe with measurements
I have shared it, there is a link in the description box. Here it is: threelittlegoats.com/how-to-make-goat-milk-lotion/. Enjoy! ❤️

I will defiantly try this!
try making a ready-made handbody mixture with bleach using goat's milk 😭😭🙏🙏
Can I purchase the lotion from you?
This is a great video im goin to share sharing is caring
Thanks for sharing 😄
Can I put this lotion in a pump bottle ? Is the viscosity thin enough ?
Yes, you can use pump bottles. If you find your lotion to be too thick, you can always add a little more water to the mix.
Did not see you mixing the goat milk. Was it powder or liquid?
When I make lotion, I always use fresh goats milk.
Can the goats milk be raw goats milk?
I only use raw milk. 🙂
Hi
Thank you for the great video. I'm going to try this . Looks fun!👍❤️
Does goat milk lotion go bad? I saw a recipe that said it’s only good for 2 weeks without preservatives and must be in fridge and it’s good for 6 weeks with preservatives.
Just drink goat milk everyday we drink it every time in our country
And it's specially for little born babies
Hi, I have made goat milk lotion for awhile but have taken a few year break. I watched your video to refresh my knowledge before making a batch today. I was curious why you added the fragrance to the lotion bottles and not to the full batch of lotion?
I make really small batches of lotion, so doing it this way I can make a few different fragrances at a time.
thank you for recipe my products are flying
Ty!!❤️😍😁
Perfect 🌹
For beginners the general "I have some oils in here" without the measurements of the combined oils really doesn't help.
There is a link to a beginner recipe in the description box, that way you can print it out or save it. Hope that help! 🙂
You do not have list and proportion of ingredients fooling us?
There is a link in the top of the description box with the recipe.
She does not give you the recipe. What she does is itemizes the recipe on her blog. Do not believe her when she says go to her blog for the recipe.
It’s not listed in percentages but you can easily plug it into a batch calculator to determine the percentages
