- Gunnery Sergeant Burns reports for duty to an American Embassy in the Middle East. However due to the 'enlightened' views of the Ambassador, the marine security detachment he is in charge of is severely restricted in their functions and presence to avoid upsetting the host government. As a result, when terrorists attack the compound, they are able to kidnap hostages and escape with little opposition. Burns ignores the Ambassador's restrictions, and throws the rule books out the window, as he becomes a one man army in an attempt to rescue the hostages, and wipe out the terrorists.

this was one of the first USA network movies they made. Good cast. Strong storytelling and a decent budget for the time. It's still better than most of the crap we get today. Even better than 99.9% of the SCifi channel garbage we get today.
Your right and no wokeism garbage in this movie like todays Hollywood crap
AMEN!!!
cause holly died it’s now deadwood ran by a dead spirit!!!
ShalomShalom
Great flick, I was still active in the Corps when this movie was produced. Timeless, The best years years of my life was spent in the Marine Corps, Semper Fidelis
I really liked this war movie. I love Joey gian in this. He needs to do more movies
Semper Fi Marine!
Thank you for your service
Semper fi brother, 1988-92
Fred Dryer is great in this .Nice to also see Peter Parros. He played RC3 in Knight Rider who was hired to drive the Flag semi truck which KITT drove into.He also helped Michael Knight on a couple of missions.
Dryer was a member of that great 70’s LA Rams defense. Legend
This is an underrated gem of an action film that holds up surprisingly well today.
Death before Dishonor movie is the Force Recon Marines version of the Delta Force movie. SGT Burns and the Marine Force Recon warriors battling terrorists everywhere in the Middle East is a 😎 film. 🦅🌎⚓🎖
A good movie.I really enjoyed it. Dryer played his part very well.
I can’t watch this stinking movie
This movie is very prophetic and yet governments and people have become complacent that this is still happening today.
Thanks for the upload of a great movie.
Many thanks. Continue to follow us for more action flicks.
This movie was before my time in The Corps; 1989-2013. A good one to watch. Fred Dryer played the role of Marine very well. Semper Fi Devil Dogs! 🇺🇸💥💥💥💥💥💥
Semper Fi MARINE. (1986-91)
Dryer makes a good Marine.
JD Vance: note!
That was really a great movie. The Marines were fantastic for a movie, compared to many other Hollywood attempts. The uniforms were as precise as any I've ever seen on screen. Some ribbon and medal misplacemen was off. Haircuts were a little laxed. Trousers and shirts not tailored perfectly for inspection. But, really good. I loved aeeing the old hazing traditions that have long been forbidden. It was never supposed to be about "hurting" the new guys. But, it did get out of hand over the years. They were some honorable traditions and embodied well in this film. Too bad to see that the Devil Dogs always get played by both/all sides. Just like we saw here.
Im happy that this 40 year old B-movie meets up to your standards
Wat a summary let me judge for myself as well loves reading comments b4 watching
I was really disappointed to see Brian Keith, an actual former Marine, wearing his cover indoors, then take it off when he got out the vehicle to check the hit pedestrian. I was in during the time this was filmed. We did not wear rank insignia on our covers. Looks cool for the movie, but just was not done anywhere I served in 21 years. There would have been more Marines making up the security detachment. And nobody gives full honors during transport. That is for the funeral site. The commands were given wrong as after each shot the squad draws back, an another command to aim, fire. Not just fire, fire, fire.
Good movie! Thanks for sharing!!!
You very Welcome .
Amazing movie. Great actors. Script was perfect.
Peter Parros is a wonderful actor.
Cool 80's action flick starting TV Hunter star👍👍
Having served in the late 70s early 80s in Spec Ops, how many lives could have been saved yesterday with today's equipment?
It called my attention the tunnel, with those found by the IDF.
Thank you for the movie.
Why is everyone on the internet who served ex special operations, there’s never any technicians, mechanics or cooks, everyone in the military is a navy seal or green beret. Thanks for your service Rambo.
Hey!
Im in the spec ops too!
Dun be jelly =o
@@alfonsedente9679 Yeah me too, I’m a green beret, navy seal, SAS and special astronaut service. When I fart I dispense mustard gas and when I shit it’s an atomic bomb 💣 you are welcome for my service 😳
I just think it's great how imprecisely the two assassins at the beginning swing their silenced UZIs in all directions and still have 100% accuracy. They don't make them movies like this anymore. Thanks for the upload, i can finally watch this Movie as it was hard to get a grab on in Germany in a uncensored Version (that changed though but i am a cheapstake)
I was looking for this...Hunter is Underrated as usual!
Great actor since day 1...
This is going to be awesome Fred Dryer is in this.
The American soldiers did a very good job, superb.🏈👏👍🤝
Those are Marines, not soldiers
Thanks for the good movie...more please

Entertaining action movie, reminds me when in the 80S, I had rented it at a film club on VHS. Thank you very much for uploading it on youtube to share it with everyone. Greetings from Mar del PLata ARG.
PS: I think they removed different fragments or parts of the film, which contained scenes of bloody... no?
excellent film
Great movie

That family assassination scene bothered me badly for years
There just isn't going to b any peace among men until Jesus comes back. Yet we pray for peace & w patiently for the blessed hope being found I pray & declare pure & spotless. 1Pet 2:24

I like action film of Fred Dryer
I love Fred Dryer, such a good actor. He’s real ! Good movie, enjoyed it. “Take me home gunny, take me home. I’ll take you home. “ so sad, but his boys were loyal. Good acting by all. Thanks for sharing!
Very good movie...definitely worth watching.
BEAUTIFUL MOVIE.
This whole movie is fantastic. A 87 middle east war, battles, conflicts flick 👍. Iron eagle 👍 navy seals👍
Movie
The Best,
Makes Me Feel Good.!!! God Bless The GI
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why deception and violence are everywhere. This is the reason why Hitler got the power, but Christ was executed as "blasphemer" and "rioter" by denunciation of clergy.
That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our loved ones again! :-)
Brian Keith's fortunes certainly took a turn for the better around the 1.14 mark. When they attacked the compound he probably thought to himself, "leave it off a few days will you lads".
I like the way Sargent perform. I'm from Namibia 🇳🇦.
Très bon film merci beaucoup Think you
Bravo
Maroc
Gran película. La ví en el cine con quién hoy es mí esposa. Me dijo..." Mirá lo que hacés ver".
This is like a Hollywood movie and those Marines fall down a lot 😂
Respect to Marines
Good old movie, and fred dryer great.
On a related note it is clear that Jemal is obviously the West Bank. They even have the same flag.
I love this war movie😊❤

I was in the Marines and can't stand Hollywood ! This movie was full of BS ! I like Fred, can't stand Hollywood, AGAIN !
It’s a movie dude not a documentary try to have fun. Oh that’s right you and Reeds don’t really have fun. Do you Marines
Hey dude is not a documentary. It’s a movie. Try to have fun. Oh that’s right you were marines rearly. Have fun
A very poor portrayal of the Marine Corps, no respect and discipline...all in all very sloppy... quite unlike the real USMC!
A very poor portrayal of the Marine Corps, no respect and discipline...all in all very sloppy... quite unlike the real USMC!
Fantastic movie. All the way through. Except for the two places it goes speechless with no sound....❤❤❤
Run a lot, fall down, run some more, fall down again, keep it up till someone hears all that noise!!🤣
Thank you I was in the sandf South Africa. Not pleasant 😢

And of course, I'm a subscriber!
Thanks Again Though.
Great movie.
Duty, honor, country on full display.
Glory to Hollywood heroes ! And don't ask questions of fairy tales 😎
I like this movie 🎬.
Nice movie
My dad & uncle played football 🏈 with Fred back in the day at Lawndale High in California they asked how did he get so big he replied he eats a whole chicken everyday lol.
Back then i scored 4 touchdowns that game for Polk High, and wooped both of them.
And sometimes he even kills and plucks it first. 😂
A 80’s classic
Works For Me 😂👍🎬
Great Impressive
Hope to enjoy it
It was awesome
good movie 100
Well Devil dogs, it's Hollywood, what did you expect 😂
Follow always ❤❤❤I love it .more pls❤❤❤
Spoiler Alert:
The "terror tunnels" seem to have existed since 1987
Oooh effing rah! Semper Fi! (89-93).
Happy Birthday Fred Dryer!
Imagine being one of the all time leaders in NFL sacks, playing in the Superbowl, having a successful Hollywood movie, and also a successful television series, Hunter, despite all of Fred's accomplishments, he is not even the most famous person born July 6th, 1946.
He's not even the second most famous person born on July 6th, 1946.
Those honors belong to George W. Bush and Sylvester Stallone...
I checked the statements and I decided to watch it was because of Brian Keith
Very real video
What i want is the ending song its very patriotical to the US ARMED FORCES 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice an Army movie watching frm Kenya 🇰🇪
I haven't watched this in years!
But imagine that - our U.S. Government arming both sides of a foreign conflict, then putting our young soldiers right smack in the middle. Still happening in 2024.
Not bad worth a watch Brian Keith better in the western Something Big.
Barely remember seeing this on AXN.
We follow ur rules, but reduce this advertisements to one
The shooter in the Ambassador's dining room had a Hollywood magazine in his weapon. Terrorists delivering sterotype script with phony accidents. Not for me.
Great movie 1/16/24
need more
SEMPER Fi
IF YOU ARE A MILITARY YOU MUST ALWAYS HAVE A SECURITY CONCIUSE, ALWAYS ALERT WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BATTLE FIELD...
Highway, was a better Recon Gunny...😎🎗
Yup. Heartbreak Ridge.
Lo vi en el cine cuando se estreno !
Since when is a Gunny not going to respond with "Don't call me sir! I work for a living!"
Music by Brian May. You mean Sir Brian Harold May, the famed guitarist for Queen? Awesome!
Actually no, 'tis Brian May the Australian composer. He also did the film scores for George Miller's "Mad Max" and "the Road Warrior".
It's just a movie, enjoy it
No one could have survived that crash at the end, no safety belts you noticed.
35:19 When your skipper (commanding officer) tells you to do something, you're not supposed to say, "Yes, Sir," you're supposed to say "Aye, aye, Sir," the same as the sailors used to say in the old movies. Actually, the Marines are a department of the Navy, so that must be why Marines use a lot of the same expressions seafaring men use. Well, at least this film got the curse word right which marines use at 4:32. When marines get angry at someone, they have used words like that among other words such as clowns.
