- Gunnery Sergeant Burns reports for duty to an American Embassy in the Middle East. However due to the 'enlightened' views of the Ambassador, the marine security detachment he is in charge of is severely restricted in their functions and presence to avoid upsetting the host government. As a result, when terrorists attack the compound, they are able to kidnap hostages and escape with little opposition. Burns ignores the Ambassador's restrictions, and throws the rule books out the window, as he becomes a one man army in an attempt to rescue the hostages, and wipe out the terrorists.

This is going to be awesome Fred Dryer is in this.
I was looking for this...Hunter is Underrated as usual!
Great actor since day 1...
Fred Dryer is great in this .Nice to also see Peter Parros. He played RC3 in Knight Rider who was hired to drive the Flag semi truck which KITT drove into.He also helped Michael Knight on a couple of missions.
Death before Dishonor movie is the Force Recon Marines version of the Delta Force movie. SGT Burns and the Marine Force Recon warriors battling terrorists everywhere in the Middle East is a 😎 film. 🦅🌎⚓🎖
❤ great movie. Hooray
A good movie.I really enjoyed it. Dryer played his part very well.
I can’t watch this stinking movie
This is an underrated gem of an action film that holds up surprisingly well today.
Superb movie. One of the best watched on you tube.Exceptional script and acting.
Nice to see Brian Keith from Hardcastle And Mc Cormick,Fred Dryer from Hunter and Peter Parros from Knight Rider in this one.
So Fred flew out to Israel to shoot his scenes for this, but then he had to fly back to Hollywood to shoot scenes for Hunter.
That was really a great movie. The Marines were fantastic for a movie, compared to many other Hollywood attempts. The uniforms were as precise as any I've ever seen on screen. Some ribbon and medal misplacemen was off. Haircuts were a little laxed. Trousers and shirts not tailored perfectly for inspection. But, really good. I loved aeeing the old hazing traditions that have long been forbidden. It was never supposed to be about "hurting" the new guys. But, it did get out of hand over the years. They were some honorable traditions and embodied well in this film. Too bad to see that the Devil Dogs always get played by both/all sides. Just like we saw here.
Im happy that this 40 year old B-movie meets up to your standards
Wat a summary let me judge for myself as well loves reading comments b4 watching
I was really disappointed to see Brian Keith, an actual former Marine, wearing his cover indoors, then take it off when he got out the vehicle to check the hit pedestrian. I was in during the time this was filmed. We did not wear rank insignia on our covers. Looks cool for the movie, but just was not done anywhere I served in 21 years. There would have been more Marines making up the security detachment. And nobody gives full honors during transport. That is for the funeral site. The commands were given wrong as after each shot the squad draws back, an another command to aim, fire. Not just fire, fire, fire.
Dryer makes a good Marine.
Amazing movie. Great actors. Script was perfect.
Peter Parros is a wonderful actor.
Good old movie, and fred dryer great.
Thanks for sharing it! I always enjoy watching Great Movies though. 👍👌👏
And of course, I'm a subscriber!

Very good movie...definitely worth watching.
The American soldiers did a very good job, superb.🏈👏👍🤝
Having served in the late 70s early 80s in Spec Ops, how many lives could have been saved yesterday with today's equipment?
It called my attention the tunnel, with those found by the IDF.
Thank you for the movie.
Why is everyone on the internet who served ex special operations, there’s never any technicians, mechanics or cooks, everyone in the military is a navy seal or green beret. Thanks for your service Rambo.
Hey!
Im in the spec ops too!
Dun be jelly =o
@@alfonsedente9679 Yeah me too, I’m a green beret, navy seal, SAS and special astronaut service. When I fart I dispense mustard gas and when I shit it’s an atomic bomb 💣 you are welcome for my service 😳
Spoiler Alert:
The "terror tunnels" seem to have existed since 1987
Good movie! Thanks for sharing!!!
excellent film
Not bad worth a watch Brian Keith better in the western Something Big.
On a related note it is clear that Jemal is obviously the West Bank. They even have the same flag.
Cool 80's action flick starting TV Hunter star👍👍
I like action film of Fred Dryer
Respect to Marines
Thanks for the good movie...more please
Nice an Army movie watching frm Kenya 🇰🇪

Great movie
❤❤❤thanks thats areallya nice movie!salute!
Movie
The Best,
Brian Keith's fortunes certainly took a turn for the better around the 1.14 mark. When they attacked the compound he probably thought to himself, "leave it off a few days will you lads".
Makes Me Feel Good.!!! God Bless The GI
Entertaining action movie, reminds me when in the 80S, I had rented it at a film club on VHS. Thank you very much for uploading it on youtube to share it with everyone. Greetings from Mar del PLata ARG.
PS: I think they removed different fragments or parts of the film, which contained scenes of bloody... no?
I only watched this to see Peter Paross,i loved him in Knight Rider when he played RC3,the driver of the Flagsemi and occasional helper to Michael Knight
Great Action Movie! 🔥
Awesome movie❤❤❤
It's just a movie, enjoy it
This is like a Hollywood movie and those Marines fall down a lot 😂
I like this movie 🎬.
Very good one 👍👍👍😊

Middle East,s problem is so complicated that even God can't solve it
Well Devil dogs, it's Hollywood, what did you expect 😂
Highway, was a better Recon Gunny...😎🎗
I love this war movie😊❤
I like the way Sargent perform. I'm from Namibia 🇳🇦.
Glory to Hollywood heroes ! And don't ask questions of fairy tales 😎
Music by Brian May. You mean Sir Brian Harold May, the famed guitarist for Queen? Awesome!
Actually no, 'tis Brian May the Australian composer. He also did the film scores for George Miller's "Mad Max" and "the Road Warrior".
SEMPER Fi
I didn't care for Paul Winfield in this movie. I mainly remember him from The Terminator movie, but not much else. Dryer as a military officer.... Worth some 🍿
35:19 When your skipper (commanding officer) tells you to do something, you're not supposed to say, "Yes, Sir," you're supposed to say "Aye, aye, Sir," the same as the sailors used to say in the old movies. Actually, the Marines are a department of the Navy, so that must be why Marines use a lot of the same expressions seafaring men use. Well, at least this film got the curse word right which marines use at 4:32. When marines get angry at someone, they have used words like that among other words such as clowns.
Fantastic movie. All the way through. Except for the two places it goes speechless with no sound....❤❤❤
Sasha Mitchell played Lucy Ewing’s Husband on Dallass
The last word in your comment looks like a bad word.
At least the ribbons are right
I wonder what else is wrong. The word yes isn't the way Marines respond to an order. The correct response is, "Aye, aye, Sir;" the same as what the sailors in old movies say.

Are there anymore Fred Dryer movies?
good movie 100
Great movie 1/16/24
My dad & uncle played football 🏈 with Fred back in the day at Lawndale High in California they asked how did he get so big he replied he eats a whole chicken everyday lol.
Back then i scored 4 touchdowns that game for Polk High, and wooped both of them.
And sometimes he even kills and plucks it first. 😂
Works For Me 😂👍🎬
Barely remember seeing this on AXN.
Great job sughernt
No one could have survived that crash at the end, no safety belts you noticed.
Sad they had to blow up that Saab but otherwise a good movie!
In real marines you sure he'll not speak to a officer before permission to speak freely
Nice to also see Brian Keith in this movie.Shame he killed himself some years later.
IF YOU ARE A MILITARY YOU MUST ALWAYS HAVE A SECURITY CONCIUSE, ALWAYS ALERT WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BATTLE FIELD...
Très beau film merci
Je suis content de voir un commentaire en francais.
Follow always ❤❤❤I love it .more pls❤❤❤
need more
22:27 Look at the sign. It has words in the language we speak. Does anyone know where this part of this movie was filmed?
Oh yes it wouldn’t be realistic without the idiot politicians.
Good movie. One thing I don’t understand is why they blow up those trucks outside for? Another thing is how can he came out of the jeep like that with no seat belt on after such a crash?
Careless producer; the soldiers dropped in the SEA/OCEAN ; but wow, their clothes are DRY. Plus, only ONE sentry who did NOT even hear the helicopters to be alert. Plus notice his well sandbagged position ; not even keep a crab out. Comedy gone wrong.
do u Wana! Live very gooooooooooooooood..American soldier,.;
The shooter in the Ambassador's dining room had a Hollywood magazine in his weapon. Terrorists delivering sterotype script with phony accidents. Not for me.
I was in the Marines and can't stand Hollywood ! This movie was full of BS ! I like Fred, can't stand Hollywood, AGAIN !
It’s a movie dude not a documentary try to have fun. Oh that’s right you and Reeds don’t really have fun. Do you Marines
Hey dude is not a documentary. It’s a movie. Try to have fun. Oh that’s right you were marines rearly. Have fun
A very poor portrayal of the Marine Corps, no respect and discipline...all in all very sloppy... quite unlike the real USMC!

Wow Hollywood 😂 the way they shoot guns fire and move rolls and dives and position there shooting in omg stupid seem to niver reload I couldn't stand watching it 😂😂 but kept watching it I am mad at my self for enjoying a little 😂
There's no such place as Jemal.
The makers of this film didn't want to be mean to the real place this was about. It might have been about Beirut. If I remember correctly, U.S.M.C. got trouble from the people there in 1984.
This movie is hollywood. I just started watching because Brian Keith is in it but his character wasn't any good either.
22:47.
Far from reality....just an illusion....

Great movie. Way too many commercials. Filmix you suck ... you messes up a great movie.
😂
Death before dishonour? Is that my choice? In that case I'm happy to go with dishonour. Thanks and I'll close the door on my way out.
