I was a D category rider who had joined this event. I needed a long ride today and wanted the Route badge. lol it was a long solo ride for me, but a good one. Finished third from the end, so not last as I’d been expecting!
The guy who won did a 1 minute 41 second time up Hilly KOM after two hours averaging 3.7wkg. I suspect that they may not be a true B cat! 😆 Did they show up on the ZP results?
Nope, not in ZP. 2nd place on screen is 1st in ZP. Person who finished first is a woman, actually. And shows as pace group D in Companion. Pretty odd. Going to report it to ZHQ...
Find it awesome (being ironic) that zwift allows some users to have extra info being displayed in their screen. Info which is of interest while racing. This not at all care about equal playing field from zwift is quite astonishing. Not blaming people using it, just zwift as a corporation does not care about providing that to all customers.
It's not uncommon in gaming for people to use third-party addons of various sorts. And it's not like Zwift only lets certain people use Sauce for Zwift. The app is available for anyone on Mac or PC. I'd like to see Zwift make this info available in-game without a third-party addon, but I don't see that happening any time soon. They have bigger fish to fry.
