"Believe and Achieve!!!!!!" This was an epic video I cant wait to see the range day with this CZ.... I honestly feel that my Shadow 2's recoil impulse feels better then my Staccato.
Love the CZ’s. I shoot open in three gun and I run against $7,000 custom 2011’s. It’s definitely a gear race. I just don’t have 7 grand for a pistol. Bought a CGW TSO cut for a DPP, had it ported and a DPMS guide rod and spring installed and now I’m in the game with those 2011’s for $2,800. The CZ’s are fantastic pistols
Really like the mods to your shadow 2. Converted my shadow 2 to single action only. Bought the czc competition hammer and a flat trigger. Very happy with the modifications. Fortunately even after adding the extended right hand safety I had no fit problems. All parts went together with no fitting problems.
I have a DA/SA S2 I use for carry optics. I’d love to get a setup like that for Limited Optics. It would be perfect because I could use all the same kit.
Fantastic job on the build! That thing looks so mean! I have the Shadow 2 and also put Cajon Gunworks bits in with the SAO conversion and it's one of the best SA triggers I have ever felt! I noticed your safety isn't very "clicky." The mushiness of the factory safety on mine bothered me. Cajon Gunworks sells a stiffer and slightly longer safety detent spring that helps - also file and sharpen the tip of the little detent block. Makes it feel so much better. An answer to a couple of your questions: Yes, these come from the factory with recoil buffers - mine also came with extras in the case. All the SAO conversion triggers have pre travel that adjusts from the rear of trigger with the slide off. Installing the pre travel set screw from the front (trigger guard side) is incorrect. Thanks so much for showing your build it looks amazing and that trigger is dirt nasty! Cheers!
Love it love it love it. I wanna do that exact same thing to my CZ Shadow 2 compact that I just got. I want a Cajun is it over to a single action only unfortunately I can’t do the work myself so I’m gonna probably have to pay somebody. But I have the 2SAO version and it’s trigger is almost maybe as good as the one you just showed us but that one is phenomenal excellent job I’ve got the same grips on my shadow too that you have on your alien only in the blue color and I love them and I’ve got the bag while I’m there too and they come from lok grips.
Holy shit, trigger looks incredible. Just boight my shadow 2 last week. Looking to do the same mods. Is the hammer just for looks or is there any performance benefit?
Awesome I got my cz75 ported ! steel frame compact sao trigger shoots absolutely amazing super flat u should definitely try porting! Like u do on ur other builds
I think u will definitely enjoy that and awesome shadow 2 build already! I love my shadow 2 but my compact has stole my heart Forsure if only they made a baby shadow ! Love the content
Some day I want to get my DWX tricked out like this (kinda). Want an optic (not sure yet which one) on it, magwell, safety aimed up with guard, trigger job, & needs a plague port instead of a front sight.
Must have not looked hard enough, I found upgrades for mine easily I have a shadow 2 SAO and did lok grips, Armory craft magwell and mag extensions,Eeaman slide stop/ gas pedal, Wide variety of triggers, Springs etc for them and I’ve had mine for awhile, Getting it ported from monsoon tactical and optic cut currently
Does using that extended slide stop as a gas pedal mess with the last round hold open? Also, your eye in the trigger guard during the trigger demonstration was very distracting but made me laugh.
@@SkipsGunz sadly am not in the US. My question is if i get an armory craft flat trigger without any further upgrades, will i be able to adjust the overtravel this short with out having hammer bumps?
Been wanting a Shadow 2 and the one you have is AWESOME!! Once you get the CZ figured out I might have to pull jump in on one. That guns is fire!! Thanks for doing something new. Love the channel!
Thats a sharp shadow. Wow. Question. Why the light on a competition gun? Its a heavy gun to begin with so the added weight is negligible. I would think it slows the draw.
Hi Skip. Love what you did with this, and this is the first time I've watched your channel but I like what you did with this Shadow 2 and your video. Question = was this this Shadow 2 that come with blue grip panels? Do you carry this, use it for home defense, compete with this, or something else. Thank you in advance
Skips hope you're doing great! I cannot turn the safety on while in double action, but I can in single action. Is has been that way since I bought my CZ Shadow 2. I was wondering is that normal?
@@SkipsGunz just thought I’d ask since it’s pretty much the Israeli cz75 lol I’m not a fan of the curved trigger it has right now but it’s a hell of shooter. I have the same gun (Shadow 2 OR). Factory SA (in its DA/SA configuration) was 3.25# out of the box. I did the SAO conversion with Cajun Gunworks parts (also a lighter main spring) and the trigger came out to 2.25-2.5#. I think had I kept the factory mainspring the SA trigger pull would have been about the same. Essentially the DA trigger pull being there or not would not affect the SA as that relates to the weight of the mainspring and the interface of the sear and hammer.

Here is my Shadow 2 drive.google.com/open?id=1-2-a-J0VjuPbshehxqau8pe_UZvEccVW&usp=drive_fs The slide had the Primary Machine Harbinger cut. With the red dot, the slide weighs less that the original with iron sights. The lower is Tungsten gray. Grips are LOK palm swell boggies. The Trigger is the Cajun Gunworks straight single action trigger. Most of the ignition parts are Cajun. I use a plus power trigger return spring to make the reset more forceful, but the pull is still about 2 and 1/2 pounds. It has the same crazy short pretravel and reset as yours. The safety lever has been reshaped since the ramp used to catch my thumb joint which gave me too little leverage on it. I also use a plus power safety plugger spring which makes its action more positive. Since the picture I have switched to the Eemanntech thumb rest slide stop lever, since it allows the last round hold open to work. I have settled on an 11 pound recoil spring which allows it to shoot quite flat. I would be very interested in what you might do to add a compensator to the Shadow 2 and how well it works whether threaded or cut.
