Hey Paul. Thanks for a great video. I installed my trigger and spring kit and it was a breeze. I bought the trigger spring tool and it was a 2 minute job. The parts took longer to get from Perth airport to my work than from Estonia to Perth. Love your work.
Love that trigger spring installation tool you show here! I had to lift the trigger bar up and put the spring in by hand with a slave pin to keep the spring in place. Then I pushed the completed trigger bar down into position. The hardest part of this task was punching the OEM trigger retaining pin out. Mine was quite difficult even with the 3/32 inch punch and some penetrating oil to ease the task. That new Trigger retaining pin is a MUST HAVE, it slides right in and out. The OEM pin is way too tight.
I finally got the trigger (more than a month wait to cross the pond) and installed it in the middle of the night. It is incredible, thank you wholeheartedly for the outstanding product. Please consider doing a model for the Tanfoglios as well - I believe you only need a slightly wider diameter of the ping and the corresponding hole in the trigger.
@@EemannTech Thank you for the great news, you are awesome! I cannot wait for cesar shop to have it online. My bank will be calling me again about why they are charges on my credit card from Slovenia. :-)
I got one of the Tanfoglio ultimate triggers and I installed it. I cannot wait for the weekend to go and shoot it. :-) Please make a floating trigger pin for the Tanfoglios and add it to the trigger package.
Hi, I received two of the trigger and they are awesome. The only thing is the overtravel screw does not have loctite on both. I double check because when I adjusted the screw its really loose so for my curiosity i did took it out and not a drop of loctite/threadlocker. But the trigger is awesome and highly recommend it.
Eemann should make an inexpensive plastic version of that special tool used to install the return spring, and then include the plastic tool in this trigger kit. The most challenging part of the installation is pushing the return spring into position, and keeping it steady before it launches skyward (not that I launched mine, but some guys might...lol).
I usually have four spares at any time cuz they are cheap, they break, and they are the most easily lost part. You can grind two notches in a pair of standard needle nose with a dremel and that helps hold the spring
Trigger protrudes too far forward for those with smaller hands and fingers that maybe an issue... thats why the reach reduction trigger works for guys with smaller hands/fingers
If you lifted up the trigger you'll notice that the trigger bar comes right out. All you would have needed was a slave pin for the trigger spring and your done.
on my flat trigger from eemanntech, the screw for adjusting the trigger hits the grip when the trigger is pulled. is that normal? my shadow 2 is new and has not been shot yet. I don't think it's nice that the screw damages the cerakote coating. Also, my trigger doesn't go into reset every now and then, so it stops short of it.
This Trigger is compatible with IWI Jericho 941F steel? Or Trigger tanfoglio stock 2 or 3 is compatible with IWI Jericho 941F steel? I have Jericho 941f steel
Just so we're clear, flat triggers do NOT help with consistency. Comparing them to a 1911 trigger that slides straight to the rear vs swinging from a pivot is completely different. Moreover, a curved trigger will naturally place the finger as deeply into the bow of the trigger as you squeeze. With a flat trigger you can literally place your finger anywhere. More toward the pivot you have less mechanical advantage and a harder pull, more toward the tip equals greater mechanical advantage. Nothing but TRAINING will keep you using one consistently. They may be en vogue, but they really are not advantageous other than through the placebo effect.
Bought it and installed it in my P-01 didn’t know if it would work or not but definitely dose hope that helps someone out there

I love that flat trigger.
But I love the challenge of finding the spring after it launched; at night too. So much fun.
