i love how the seller just stood by and let you do your thing instead of "show" you EVERYTHING.
At 68 back when I was a kid marbles were a big deal. One thing I remember was we used to take the core swirl marbles and heat them up on the stove then drop them in water and they would get cracking through out which made them look very cool. Now that's a memory I haven't thought about in a long time.

Froggy, I could feel how much you wanted that rack pack and He-Man throw. Lol. They saved the best for last. Note- check all those B and obscure dvds before selling them for $2 each. Some of those are probably OOP and go for $10-$20 each.

We don’t have yard sales in the U.K., I had a dealer come round to buy postcards and other stuff. That’s exactly what it was to me, stuff that was taking up space and I wanted it gone. The guy who brought it has to do all the work of selling it and I doubt he will make a million

Awesome video.. I have some marbles from when I was a kid in the late 70’s and 80’s. I haven’t studied up on them, but I love collecting them lol. I recently picked up some hand blown marbles from the 30’s, they are beautiful. Thanks for all of the info you give.

my dad used to collect old marbles and had about $10k worth of them. Had a trunk full of cheap cat eyes and glass planter frogs he used as marble display stands all over the house. It was pretty insane.

Omg I had that same Masters Of The Universe blanket when I was a kid in Jamaica 🇯🇲 was my favorite show actually also because we didn’t have much channels but never missed that show wish I still had it now lol

Yup, you absolutely could beat the Atari ET game. It was the first game I ever did beat. And if I could get lucky with the game not glitching, I had it down to being able to beat it in under 20 minutes.
Man, I had a shit ton of probably 1st series GPK cards when I was young. Bunch of cool toys to. Ton of micro machines.

Such a great pick! I had that Masters of the Universe quilt! Got it new as a kid and actually kept it(not on my bed lol) until my mid 20s, ended up losing it when I moved like 15yrs ago :( Loved that quilt!!
I once purchased like 30 commodore systems all different models from a guy that repaired them he had floppy boxed games and everything commodore you can think of they sell so well on eBay it’s just crazy

I've heard this a few other times about the ET Atari game. Surely I'm not the only one that has beat it multiple times back in the day when I played it? Certain aspects of gameplay are frustrating like trying to get out of the pit and you would fall back in pretty easily if you were not careful, but I've probably beat that game hundreds of times because I loved the movie so much that I played this game a lot even though there were shortcomings.

i found seven marbles in charity shop trash bin i got $700 for them !, basically, they were made in germany before WW11 and the factories all got bombed so are really hard to find, i'm no expert but these were beautiful, with hand blown designs inside.
