2020 eMax 22L here. Only 300 hours, but zero problems. I’ve done a lot of loader work. I have spread about 150 yards of loam, moved hundreds of logs with pallet forks, and I’ve done a good amount of digging with the backhoe, removing dozens of large pine stumps. I run a plow on the front and a snowblower in the back during winter. I have used a York rake on the 3 point hitch, but nothing like a box blade. Maybe that’s why I haven’t run into the problem with the seals. With the amount of work I’ve done moving dirt, I’ve kept a close eye on the front axles. The backhoe makes for good ballast, so that might be working in my favor.

Got 730hrs on our EMax 22, other than no start issue caused by bad connection ECS solenoid (purchased a service manual and fixed myself) My only complaint is we have a plastic hood model, wish it had the newer steel hood. Great little tractor!

OMG..I think I'd be getting rid of that thing...can you imagine when it gets older..?? 🥰

We've had our 2017 emax 22L since 2019. Just had a no start issue, the dealer picked it up so I don't know the problem yet hopefully just a relay or solenoid. We also have the 25L loader and the mid mower. No issues with the seals yet or side panel problem. Loader hydraulic control actuator needs a new boot and just replaced the battery $200 at O'Reilly. Got a rear blade to for grading the road and snow removal also will have to watch those seals.

Just had left rear seal fixed, sticky foot pedal, and some emissions recall done on my emax 25L all at 200 hours.

I’ve had my emax22 for almost 8 years. The first couple years it was great, then the electrical issues started. The hour meter quit working and I could never get the dealership to come look at it. That was at 305 hours. Then a hydraulic hose on the right side of the engine compartment blew due to chaffing on a bracket. Poor install job. At 475 hours, I tracked them on my phone, it wouldn’t stay running. Finally got the dealership to look at it. Whatever they replaced also fixed the hour meter. Now, at 720 hours, I can’t get the pto to engage. It’s like the safety switch under the seat quit working. Going to figure it out myself because I can’t count on the dealership.

Humm interesting, I have one with almost 400 hrs, the only issue I had was a relay blown for my windshield wiper, yes mine has a cab. I have not been easy on it, and I really could not ask for better and I have even had the company call mid way through all these hrs. to make sure all was going well for me. I run a rear straight blade, a box blade, a spade, forks / bucket, extension boom and I have ballast in the tires working in - 30 Celsius weather sometimes here in Canada. I have a slight leak on a front seal that I am keeping an eye on and will keep eye out at the rear as you are describing. Other than that compared to the other tractor I had from a different company, I could not be happier. Thanks for your input.

It's sad how quality of about everything has dropped over the last few years. The new rule of business is fast and cheap.

I have the same tractor. No seal issues of any sort.
Only problem l had so far was that throttle lever would not stay where you leave it.
Washers where just disintigrated so l made some out of delrin and no issues.

Hmm I haven’t had that issue yet but I’m sure it’s coming! Good luck with yours!

My biggest problem were the shifting forks. That allows my 4 wheel drive. And my high/low selector on the left side. They stuck and it's a real bear to try to get them apart. I had to take it to the dealer because the shifting fork needed to be replaced. I'm setting at about three hundred or so hours on mine

I have an E Max 22 Mahindra front axle seal fixed no charge . Tractor for size is heavy compared to other ones of same size. No other problems

2016 emax 25. #1The muffler broke off, #2the bucket has been cracked and rewelded 3 times, #3 the bolts on the frame started backing out and sheared off leaving only 3 or holding the tractor together. #4 the cross bar between the loader arms that supports the single bucket tilt down piston bent and eventually broke and replaced with heavier pipe. #5 Now with 500 hours on it the diesel shut off solonoid has quit working not a big deal til you find out that that thing is $875.

I have had problems with battery and had left seal replaced on rear. Right one is giving me a problem now. I switched to smaller box blade and it handles it better in my opinion

Have an eMax 22 as well - love the tractor, but have also had to replace 3 out of the 4 axle seals already. The manufacturer has covered it so far but I think it is just poor assembly. Once the dealer fixes them they seem to hold up. Sis have to replace the battery at about 150 hours

    • @TheGlassFamilyvlog
      @TheGlassFamilyvlog  ปีที่แล้ว

Sounds like we’re all having the same issues. FYI I had the seals replaced twice now on the rear. 🤦‍♂️

I love my emax22. The dealer told me from the delivery, don’t let it idle. Run around 1800-2000. The muffler will crack. I didn’t listen and it cracked at 250 hrs.

  • @johenesmith8405

Same model. Engine side panels, ✅(same issue) 1 rear axle seal(around the shaft the adhesive was not good enough to hold it in, so had to fix that.
One thing that I really dislike about the model is how grass and dust seem to cover the front grill and keeps the motor much warmer than it should be and causing the coolant to expand and overflow out a tube that is positioned directly in front of the exhaust pipe.
Continuing on, I replaced my batt at about 260 hrs and for whatever reason my hrs meter stays on with the key off and out of the ignition.
    Other than that…..😂

I have a emax 22 also and my hydraulics quit working a month after the warranty expired I called the dealer ship closest to me where I bought it and it was a bunch of crap from the service center and a year later I still haven’t heard from them and come to find out there’s no filter on the system for the emax I also put a new pump in it and it still doesn’t work 187 hours

    • @Anthonyshopguy1
      @Anthonyshopguy1 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

I just purchased a 2016 emax 22 and I guarantee you, there is a hydraulic filter. It's underneath the Black cover in the center floorboard to the driver 's right. You have to remove that cover to find it.

    Junk.
First emax 22 worked fine but warning light kept flickering. Numerous trips to dealer but couldn't resolve.
Was given a replacement. (Was told later, a TSB came out. Wiring harness too close to a sensor)
The 2nd one was a pain.
    Muffler/manifold cracked.
( Idle vibrates too much and causes metal fatigue in shoddy metal)
Seals leak, shift levers stick, PTO - both run regardless of where lever is set.
A wiring harness rubbed through against a moving part. Bucket won't stay up sometimes, works fine sometimes. Mahindra is a 4-letter word. Stay away.

I have just shy of 1000 hrs on a 2019 Emax 25 hst with cab. Single biggest POS I have ever bought. I bought it new and within 2 hrs is died, they delivered it with a blown fuse in the charging system loop. By 20 hr I was having electrical issues, caused by wire loom not being installed properly. By 40 hrs the hydro pump crapped out and was dumping fluid out. Before 100 hrs hydro lines rubbed through due to no protective jacket. The list goes on. Had it to the dealer 12-14 times while under warranty. I will never own another Mahindra product ever again once this thing dies.

I have a problem with my Max a new dash light came on and I cant find it anywhere on the internet, it's above the glow plug next to the battery light ans looks kind of like a Fan with an arrow. My fan is working as I can tell but there is a weird noise I cant see the source of, any ideas?

My tractor has 84 hrs on it and the front axle seal started leaking. Took it to the dealer to be replaced. When they opened the axle, a 1/2 gallon of water poured out. Dealer claims I sunk the tractor. They only use it has seen was maintaining a gravel driveway and has never even been in the rain. Mahindra refused to address. Cost me $2;000 by the time I was through and the internal axle parts have surface rust. Will not buy another Mahindra!

My 20s 23l with back hoe dangerous to work around. Bucket and hoe leak down. Working bucket you constantly are tapping lever to maintain bucket position and have to correct hoe also or it drags behind you if you don't have pin in. Had bucket clys replaced, also control valve no better. Told by mahindra this is normal. Bucket parked, 300pounds, shut machine down 20 minute later load is on ground . Should have bought orange.
