I've got to lesson 13 on your course and last night set up to have my first practical session, pen ready, practice skin ready... stencil onto carbon paper, and could I get it to transfer to the skin, nope. Went back to lesson 1 for a recap. I forgot all about the lotion, so after finding a stick deodorant I got a good print. While stressing I remembered your words about not getting stressed out and it worked. Thanks again for the lessons.
I've seen this video many of time. Every time I watch it I catch another great peice of advice. I can almost set up my station just like Ben's. However until I can do it without watching this video. You would already set up the basic but to know precisely what colors and needles needed you’ll just have that near by till further notice from customer.

You said that you would explain why you don’t pour white until later in the video. Maybe I missed it but I watched this video 4 times. Personally I love your videos and your honesty and much much more. So if I missed it I’m sorry but can you please explain why you don’t pour white until later. Just taking a guess on it but is it because the color pigment would have time to settle to the bottom of the cap? I assume that’s why you need to shake the bottle or ink.
Do you empty and clean the inside of the green soap bottle between customers, filling it with a new batch each time? I can't seem to find this detail anywhere. Thanks for all this as always!

Thank you so much for all information! I just started following you because I want to learn body tattoos. I am a professional linergist and a body piercer, and now I want to learn tattoos. Mostly because I love to make art, I draw and paint quite a bit also. I already have a lot of knowledge about needles, skin, machines, pigments, diluting etc. But I suffer from fibromyalgia and have some challenges due to pain in my lower back, hips, fingers, arms... I already have a workstation that I can adjust to my body. But do you have a recommended machine for beginners such as me?

I know this is coming way after the posting of this video, but I've found that about 30ml of bactine and 30ml of witch hazel in my greensoap bottle works wonders for pain/inflammation during tattoo, no need to dump in a half bottle.

Multivarsity Ben uses sound and feel. Not a number. To find your own voltage. Start at a low voltage and run a line at the correct depth at a comfortable speed. Look at the line if it is weak and not solid. Then up your voltage by 1 then repeat. Until you get a nice crisp solid line . Hope this helps.

Everyone is different you need to find what works for you.
Multivarsity Ben uses sound and feel. Not a number. To find your own voltage. Start at a low voltage and run a line at the correct depth at a comfortable speed. Look at the line if it is weak and not solid. Then up your voltage by 1 then repeat. Until you get a nice crisp solid line . Hope this helps.
