Riverford Organic boxes are both plastic free and healthy! The costs are surprisingly low for organic. I eat meat about once a week - fish every other week and veggie dishes - one meal a day and a small snack - not a huge eater! Bulk buy off Amazon for things like tinned tomatoes, kidney beans etc. Bulk cooking and freezing actually depletes nutrients but saves money which in this current financial climate is necessary!
Thanks from the tips. I recently moved from NY to Connecticut and have to shop for 2 households now, mine and my parents. I'm spending a ridiculous amount of money on foods that sometimes go to waste only because I want them available to my parents. Bread, peppers, fruits sometimes spoil.
I'd love to know what your go-to veggie meals are! I'd love to go more vegetarian, both because of sustainable and financial reasons, but I struggle to introduce variety into my diet. I'd love to see an example of weekly meals for example!
@@alison2984 £50 for two weeks for a family of 3 please can I ask where do you shop & do you plan your meals before hand? Because I spend a little over £60 a week for just me & I wanna bring the cost down!
Please do a grocery haul and what I eat in a week - we need to see the receipts!!! 😀 Great channel.
That's a great idea! I'll add it to the list

Are you meeting your nutritional requirements on that?

Haha to be fair a £20 food budget is now a lot harder than it was a year ago, you must eat great for £100 though 😉
Sorry dude £20 per week is not a low budget...
For most people it is
For me that's pretty high for one person I spend £50 for 2 weeks for a family of 3 (just over £8 per person per week)
