I just braided my hair micro mini box braids using regular hair it took 21 hours braided all the way dwn I plan on leaving them up 4 months long protective style moisturize every other day and I'm old school I use hair grease yes and it works perfectly for growth retention On myself u did an awesome job on your hair
You did a great job, I’m going to do my hair like that if I can find the right hair, because like you, I’ve been doing my own hair for years, I taught myself how to braid in my own hair.
I’ve been trying to figure out which hair to use. Right now, my hair is in mini braids that are braided halfway, then twisted and twirled at the ends, depending on the length. I love who our coils stretch out when moisturized. It’s great to be gifted with a strong sense of touch cuz it makes doing my own hair possible. Thanks for sharing.
I just did this with gogo curl but it took me 3 days because after I put them in I wrapped the top of them like faux locs but thinking about doing it again with just the curly hair ❤
Yea i love the way it looks with just the curls but I love that idea of using it for faux locs. Maybe when they grow out and get tired then you can do that instead of taking them out. Basically recycling the style.
@@folosophi yeah I loved it before I wrapped them but I had an idea in mind so I didn't put them in to hold without being wrapped but I saw this picture and it was so pretty and most people do the long locs with the wavy or curly ends so the short look is very pretty with the spiral curl looking ends...I hope it last at least a month! And because the braids are thin the locs are small

No. The hair comes curled already. Dipping it would just straighten it out ultimately ruining the entire style.

Those some big parted micro's. That's not micro braids looks more like old school pixie braids. Aka Plaits. Those look like a 2hour job or less.
