@@angelsweet9611 edges are weaker hair, some have stronger edges than others but her client has soft edges..so even if she doesn’t braid tightly, they are prone to traction alopecia.
Hello I know this video is an old one but I'm a braider myself just looking want to do micros on self I don't know what hair to use I like this style and length what hair was this in your client's head. Your work is flawless ✨️ very beautiful thank you for sharing
So what you're trying to say is constant tension on your edges is not going to pull them out? Because in the video she is pulling on them and the braids are so tight you can't even see the girls edges anymore. And with that constant tension that is going to be on them, they are going to fall out. You don't have to pull on edges to make them fall out but the tension on them will make them fall out.
Lae, pulling on them or not, our hairs all have different textures, some textures are soft while others are firm enough. You may have a good hair texture that's why you don't loose your edges. For people like myself with such soft hair texture, no matter how I treat my hair, with such micro, my edges are in trouble tight or not
That's true because my sister had them and what she does is take the middle part and tie it first Then the ones around the edges she use a black rubber band and she don't tie it she just put rubber band on if that makes sense
Home Schoolie there is something called a soft scalp and even if the braids are not tight, as long as someone has a soft scalp, the skin is going to rise as you hold the hair, doesn’t mean it’s too tight. But only braided who deal with different hair type(/ texture, will understand better
This is very beautiful and exactly how I want mine done on Wednesday. But I’m confused. Her natural hair wasn’t braided all the way down. How will it stay blended with the braiding hair? And how does she take them out?
I braid and that's how I do it. I would braid past my clients hair. I had the knots done on me before....it was a no no when taking the hair down. Not suggested at all
chocolate mounds So sorry to hear that. I always advice my clients on how to wear their braids to avoid breakage and when you get your hair braided, if it feels tight, it likely is and that is recipe for breakage.

Momo Ed No, if didn’t but she has tender scalp, so she feels the tension when I grip but after am done, it was okay. She has had this same style installed again after this cod she loved it.
You used way too much hair per section. I never have to go in and thin mine out. My mother never had to either. And it goes Into ponytail effortlessly. Next time. Don't add so much hair per braid
I don’t know how you came about her hair falling out, it all depends on the take down method and this is not the first time am doing this, the secret is to make sure the knots are tied with only the hair extension and not her hair. FYI, she had come back to make this same style after that and her hair and hairline were intact.
This hairstyle is not for unhealthy, damaged, chemically damaged, relaxed or too fine of hair. Her hair is not healthy enough for this hairstyle it looks like.
I think that's just the micro braid look. Which suck for longer hair because as the weeks go on it's easier to see your hair vs fake hair. And @beautycanbraid with a knot, how do you take down the braid without cutting the natural hair?
