Still dreamin' of having my own loft. I got six more years till retirement. Thinking of moving out of the California suburbs and move out of state in the countryside. It's been more than 30 years since I had a loft. Just can't wait. Thanks for sharing.
They look wonderful and strong. They will learn to get to basket soon. The main thing is try to get them in as soon as they come in. You don’t want to loose any second. Good luck 👍😘😘😘😘
Great advice my friend. I think I need to take them out much farther so the are a little tired and thirsty! right now they are flying 2 - 3 hours twice a day without breaking a sweat lol.
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons great, when I raced my birds came directly in as soon as they landed. Train them in a way that you don’t loose any second. Specifically in short races is very important to get them in fast👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@scottwegener4082 I'll second that. I've got a total of 7 birds from Mike and well behaved and amazing flyers!! his videos are something else to watch. I find myself anxiously waiting for his next video to come out.
Y'all are giving me a swell head! LOL I appreciate the compliments my good friends and am happy to hear that all the birds are working out for y'all. Keep them flying 👍
@@chrismunro4385 Thanks Criss, I'm trying to make more videos for you my friend 👍 I'm glad you are enjoying the birds and the ones you sent me are doing great 💯
Excellent excellent you should be very proud of your birds it looking good every day every video I watch your birds are looking stronger and faster you should be very proud good job
Thanks Ron, they do make me proud. So nice to have hatched all of them here and watch them grow up and be very strong the way they are. Thanks for your comment I appreciate it
Wow nice and beautiful birds. Looks all afe in good condition. Good luck to your race... Hope to have a pair of your birds someday here from the Philippines..
Amazing birds , love you're videos! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! I'm from Massachusetts and just started raising pigeons, just for fun,I don't race them. Keep the videos coming Mike!
Thanks Robert, I’m originally from Massachusetts myself. I lived in the Fitchburg - Leominster area my whole life until I moved to SC 8 years ago. Glad you enjoy the channel thanks for watching
Another great video, the first birds just waltzed into the last box like good soldiers, I am beginning to think they are as smart as dogs. Your white pigeon that is a loner is a interesting one, hope to see more of him and what makes him that way. Thank You!
They are very smart that’s for sure. Once they know the routine they are a creature of habit. That one your weight is pretty unique I will keep some updates on him. Thanks for watching
Thanks for this beautiful video, very relaxing to watch them flying. And it was ingenious idea to let them into that pickup truck without traumatizing them. You are very gentle indeed with them, a true gentleman... Hope our paths will cross some day, love to have a drink with you and discuss our contrasting professions..
Thanks for the kind words and it’s nice to know that you are interested in these beautiful creatures. They take a good part of my day but I don’t even realize the time has flown by - no pun intended! Thanks for watching my friend
Mike very nice! Love your wide array of colors. Your birds kit well in the air and seem hawk savvy. I actually think run ins with birds of prey can be beneficial (as long as there are no casualties) to the homers intel/savy. I know some of my best have had close calls. Your crew definitely looks like it’s ready to tackle a 50 miler! Thanks for sharing.
The hawks sometimes do more good then harm during training I believe! I am missing four birds since I started with the young team but I don’t think hawks got them. I definitely need to get them out much father. Just looking for the time to do it. Thanks for watching Jon 👍
When I was putting a lot of effort into winning races I was taking my birds on multiple 100 mile tosses a week. I was always intrigued with people who were competitive and only loft flew their birds though.
Very very nice my friend. I love it! You should do wonders this season with the races. I am assuming you feed twice a day? Is this correct? Once in the morning and other in afternoon.
den Höhenunterschied zwischen dem Landebrett und den Fanggabeln würde ich wegmachen so das es auf ein Level kommt, so können die Tauben einfacher und noch schneller einspringen I would remove the difference in height between the landing board and the fishing forks so that it comes to a level, so the pigeons can jump in easier and faster
If people could fly there's no Way They would make it home from further than a few miles....if you let a flying person OUT 500 miles from home, it would bé weeks , months or never before it came home

I am lucky enough to be a few miles from Mike and got a couple of his birds. Best handled birds in my loft even compared to my own hatches.

Hi mate great job with the birds. When are you going to start racing
THE RACES START 3RD WEEK IN SEPTEMBER
Very very nice my friend. I love it! You should do wonders this season with the races. I am assuming you feed twice a day? Is this correct? Once in the morning and other in afternoon.
Thanks Gul, yes I feed a lite feed after they fly in the morning. This way they are hungry 6 to 8 hours later when I fly them again.
Unbelievable…👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😊
how often do treat your birds for cocci canker an wors, just curious
When they first start flying I treat them for five days then I wait 10 days and do it again. Then every month after that I repeat
Ok keren 😁😁
Thanks 🙏 👍

Do you sell pairs? I'm interested in buying
At the end of the racing season I will most likely have to sell some pairs

If you HAD Them 10 miles out and it took 20 min they flew 30 miles a hour
That’s if they flew in a straight line. But they like to roam around and have fun probably around 45 to 50 miles an hour.
If people could fly there's no Way They would make it home from further than a few miles....if you let a flying person OUT 500 miles from home, it would bé weeks , months or never before it came home
I agree, especially for me I have a terrible sense of direction LOL
