    Still dreamin' of having my own loft. I got six more years till retirement. Thinking of moving out of the California suburbs and move out of state in the countryside. It's been more than 30 years since I had a loft. Just can't wait. Thanks for sharing.

    They look wonderful and strong. They will learn to get to basket soon. The main thing is try to get them in as soon as they come in. You don’t want to loose any second. Good luck 👍😘😘😘😘

      Great advice my friend. I think I need to take them out much farther so the are a little tired and thirsty! right now they are flying 2 - 3 hours twice a day without breaking a sweat lol.

      @@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons great, when I raced my birds came directly in as soon as they landed. Train them in a way that you don’t loose any second. Specifically in short races is very important to get them in fast👍👍👍👍👍👍

      I am lucky enough to be a few miles from Mike and got a couple of his birds. Best handled birds in my loft even compared to my own hatches.

    Mike very nice! Love your wide array of colors. Your birds kit well in the air and seem hawk savvy. I actually think run ins with birds of prey can be beneficial (as long as there are no casualties) to the homers intel/savy. I know some of my best have had close calls. Your crew definitely looks like it’s ready to tackle a 50 miler! Thanks for sharing.

      The hawks sometimes do more good then harm during training I believe! I am missing four birds since I started with the young team but I don’t think hawks got them. I definitely need to get them out much father. Just looking for the time to do it. Thanks for watching Jon 👍

      It’s nice to have good quality pure whites and cross them with your racing pigeons they seem to do very well and come out beautiful looking.

    When I was putting a lot of effort into winning races I was taking my birds on multiple 100 mile tosses a week. I was always intrigued with people who were competitive and only loft flew their birds though.

    Very very nice my friend. I love it! You should do wonders this season with the races. I am assuming you feed twice a day? Is this correct? Once in the morning and other in afternoon.

      Thanks Gul, yes I feed a lite feed after they fly in the morning. This way they are hungry 6 to 8 hours later when I fly them again.

      When they first start flying I treat them for five days then I wait 10 days and do it again. Then every month after that I repeat

    I would remove the difference in height between the landing board and the fishing forks so that it comes to a level, so the pigeons can jump in easier and faster

      That’s if they flew in a straight line. But they like to roam around and have fun probably around 45 to 50 miles an hour.

    If people could fly there's no Way They would make it home from further than a few miles....if you let a flying person OUT 500 miles from home, it would bé weeks , months or never before it came home
