I like how the ancient-evil-possessed demonic sheep-goat horror has a cute little bell that jingles as they walk and still baas like a baby. who can argue with an adorable world-ending concept like that?
How do we know "The One Who Waits" is gonna end the world of this game? They could easily subvert it and actually make the eldritch being a GOOD thing. For all we know, things were peaceful before the bishops sealed Them away

@@DirectorOfChaos9292 We don't know for certain, but The One Who Waits is strongly tied to the aspect of Death enough to be basically canon, with the other bishops being the other Horsemen, with Chaos also in the mix. War, who plays double-duty as Athena for the wisdom aspect, describes Death's ambition as 'glutinous'. Also the whole 'Five become Four become Three become Two becomes One becomes Nothing.' bit. And they'd know, considering they seemed closest to them.

I'm glad this game is cult-themed because it has so many addictive aspects it's kind of evil, even the dice mini game looks addictive, and I love the cute artstyle, so far seems like an instant hit

This looks like a combination of a lot of good game mechanics. It definitely sets itself apart from other games in its genre and I like that. It has a really interesting premise and an insanely cool art style. I'm so on board with this one.
I love that it looks cutesy but you can convince your followers that eating dead bodies is a great thing
The isaac + animal crossing is obvious, but what I like the most are the frostpunk elements. Makes me excited to see those mechanics expanded upon in more games going forward
@@lr- it reminds me heavily in terms of theming and visuals of isaac, but the gameplay is very hades-esque in the dungeon parts of the game, it's a really beautiful melding of games from the genre
I really don’t want to get into a rogue-like I’ll probably never finish, but man, everything I’ve seen of this game from Vinny and elsewhere has made an extremely convincing argument.

In one of the latest vids, the developers state that the game takes around 15-20 hours to beat, so it's not the usual life consuming pastime that most rougelikes are.
It’s half roguelite. Half management sim. The roguelite stuff can get really hard too

I love how vinny's strange tendency to cause glitches in games is being called his "passive ability"

The music is SO good
So early on before the sacrifice mechanic got unlocked in my game, I gained a follower who had a negative trait, where they lost a little faith if a cult member got sacrificed. So I unlocked the sacrifice mechanic and found who it was that had the negative trait, and made them the first sacrifice.
Man this game looks INSANELY fun, I played the demo and I loved it so much

I’ve seen a couple people trying to play this game off as solely Lovecraftian (yes, it definitely has Lovecraftian elements as well as Satanic ones) and not as Satanic and I’m wondering if this is something you guys genuinely think.
For a moment I thought this was going to be a continuation of that short game with the scavenger guy protecting the demon kid and forbidding them from drinking gasoline or saying "fuck".

It has amazing Twitch integration. Viewers can enter a raffle to have a follower named after them and decide their apperance. They can also chose to help or hinder the streamer during certain events in many different ways.
