Loved it.. 17 years in Restaurant business. Then had 2 babies, then went too lularoe. 🤦♀️. Than got smart and opened my own business. Now, I'm volunteering in my community. Now she regain some friend cause she admit that she went to far but its not the same.. and she is still in the mlm but she's more humble about it.

I just started my own business. I'm a painter, and just received my business license yesterday, and spending this whole weekend working on my very first website. I also work part time on the weekends at home depot to help fund this. As a part time home depot employee I get incredible health benefits, paid for vision and dental, retirement, paid for education, endless growth opportunities, and full support for anything I could ever want to be within or outside the company. My actual small business would not exist without the help of a big corporation.
There are SOOOO many webinars out there for professional development for free. Particularly since the pandemic. My old supervisor used to have my department participate in webinars a lot. Some of them are really helpful (some are boring as hell) in terms of professional development.

I didn't want to go back into the work force BUT I just went back to working at Jack in the Box last week and I'm going to be bringing home a GUARANTEED $16/hr (due to previous 2yr experience with the company) actually getting paid for putting in the work at my job on the clock and I don't have to do ANYTHING "off the clock". I get paid for the time that I'm required to be there. I only went back to work because I've been one of the many online small businesses super negatively impacted by the current financial state of the world (especially the US). I'm still running my business because it is my passion. I just had to make the adult decision to bring in a more guaranteed income so I can properly financially contribute to supporting my family.

I just started my own business. I'm a painter, and just received my business license yesterday, and spending this whole weekend working on my very first website. I also work part time on the weekends at home depot to help fund this. As a part time home depot employee I get incredible health benefits, paid for vision and dental, retirement, paid for education, endless growth opportunities, and full support for anything I could ever want to be within or outside the company. My actual small business would not exist without the help of a big corporation.

There are SOOOO many webinars out there for professional development for free. Particularly since the pandemic. My old supervisor used to have my department participate in webinars a lot. Some of them are really helpful (some are boring as hell) in terms of professional development.

He works with internet businesses that most CPAs don't understand (the number of podcasters and app developers that have come to us because theirs don't understand how someone makes money that way would be mind blowing).

"Go get a part time job slinging drinks or whatever"... ma'am. I didn't want to go back into the work force BUT I just went back to working at Jack in the Box last week and I'm going to be bringing home a GUARANTEED $16/hr (due to previous 2yr experience with the company) actually getting paid for putting in the work at my job on the clock and I don't have to do ANYTHING "off the clock". I get paid for the time that I'm required to be there. I only went back to work because I've been one of the many online small businesses super negatively impacted by the current financial state of the world (especially the US). I'm still running my business because it is my passion. I just had to make the adult decision to bring in a more guaranteed income so I can properly financially contribute to supporting my family.
