An Algonquin Adventure | Exploring High Falls Natural Waterslide and the Barron Canyon

After my canoe trip I headed north to explore a different area of Algonquin Park. While researching canoe routes I came across two places I was immediately drawn to. After looking on the map I discovered these two places were very close neighbours. One was a series of waterfalls that you can actually use as a WATERSLIDE!! And that same river ends up travelling to destination two which is a 300 ft deep canyon that you can paddle through or climb to the top. From that moment I knew I had to go see this for myself...

Barron Canyon is on my list for next spring ('23) ....a ton of nice crown land up there :) peace and groovy vibes

There is! I camped out the day before not to far from park entrance. Tons of roads and small lakes to explore out there!!

I think we parked at the cheaters parking lot? is that the closest parking lot to get there? also, when we went... we got to the area of the flow where it was full of log jams. We didn't know exactly where to go to get to that water slide or that water fall you showed. Is there a some detailed map we can see somewhere?
