Anyway, thanks to OmegaRayblade for the Subbed version for starters. I wouldn't have made this if I didn't know what the heck was going on =P
This video is really just a test of my audio mixing skills, and took near a month and a half to make. It was difficult, but I'm satisfied with how it generally turned out.
This took quite awhile to make as I had to do all of the sound effects and voice mixing myself. I pretty much went through the entire Calamity Trigger script to find the correct voice clips that the original had. Some voice clips, unfortunately and to my utter disappointment, did not actually fit within the context of the video. For example, in the original during the cutscene when Ragna jumps at Jin, he says "What the hell are you doing here?!" The English Ragna asked the question with less anger and with more confusion, which made me have to have him just yelling at Jin instead, things like that. - เกม

Sadly, ASW has not given any sort of response to the petition and with them saying there will not be an Extend version, the possibility of us getting a dub for CF is grim.

I swear, the two lines from Ragna and Nu really get to me. When Nu says "Why...?" and she sounds like she's about to cry and Ragna saying "Sorry..." before delivering the final blow.
Patrick Seitz' delivery when Ragna's losing his cool while talking to Nu is done so well. Especially the part at 5:30.
FieryShaverdian I agree! It's doesn't sound like a cheap anime line that he's delivering. It sounds legit like he's frustrated and pissed. I love the dub.
Right? I used to replay his story all the time so I could hear his delivery. Man's probably one of my biggest inspirations to for voice acting!
Patrick Seitz does an AMAZING job voicing Ragna in eng. He sounds so angry when needed

CrossStarX the VA's really have fun with all the lines ive met like 5 of the cast memebers and the all say they love it

It's been years since I've seen this video and man, I loved the English dubbing for the series. Sad how the final chapter to it had no dub, but hey, at least we got Cross Tag Battle.
idk why but 3:46 that line 'this is the power of darkness' puts shivers down my spine i love it. can't get that with the Japanese voices what a fucking blowout for the games coming out now really kills it for me the English dub is really what makes the game for me.
I want this kind of animations for all the BlazBlue games
This was the first thing I saw of Blazblue and after it, I bought Blazblue central fiction and learned about the lore (not not from the game) and then went back to play the other games. So if it wasn't for this video I would have never found my favorite fighting game series.

Yeah, I couldn't find any equivalent to that line in the entire script of Calamity Trigger. I really tried to look for it, but the English version just didn't have it. I had to instead just resort to a "Sorry..." instead.

The animated cutscenes are from the game. The original guy who made this used the PC version of Calamity Trigger to modify/hack all the fights and stuff. And Kisuke here edited this again with English voices clips from the game.

So Ragna beats up Jin and later fights the other Jin from a different timeline who is now known as Hakumen of the Six Heroes.

Yeah. That was Hakumen's voice until Continuum shift Extend. Now they changed the voice filter to make it less obvious it is Jin.

The reason Jin seems to 'lust' after Ragna is the Power of Order inside him, as well as the Nox Nyctores: Yukianesa influencing his mind. Yukianesa amplifies his emotions (where he'd just be glad to see Ragna) and the Power of Order drives him to want to destroy the Power of Chaos (Ragna's power) and in turn to want to destroy the Azure Grimoire/BlazBlue. This all mixes together to present the Jin we know and love.
