I'd love to learn this on my pipes. Your songs encourage me to keep going on, and working with them. We bought my set used, and they were in need of a few repairs, and we knew that, but it kept seeming like more and more came up. I was getting discouraged, but I didn't want to give up because these are heirloom pipes, and very beautiful. They have a wonderful tone, but the previous owner never really played them. Listening to your songs help me to feel enthusiastic about them again, and not discouraged. It was much needed. Thank you!
Molly R. Goates keep it up! It’s worth every second learning the tunes. Repairing a set that’s old is hard to do.. but I bet the sound is brilliant! And I have no doubt the pipes are happy to be played again.
In PB in Ireland. That’s a lovely rendition. We play it a slow air. It’s an ancient tune played for hundreds of years on the Irish warpipes in Munster. I did not know it was known in Scotland too. Beautiful
Beautiful music! I love it! You bring beauty! Thank You For This! Your high notes touch the soul✨! My grand mother Helen Brennan Mac Donald was frm Kilkenny,Ireland! Im sure she would of enjoyed hearing u play as well!✨
Merci à vous. Merci pour les musiques. Merci beaucoup. Parfois, attendant sur le parking l'autorisation de m'envoler, je me perd un peu dans le rythme de vos musiques. Merci à vous.
That is quite true, Mary Stuart should not have in expression made any claim to another throne; the word pretender has been used. However, the execution of Mary by the English queen was, like many we have record of, was an Unpardonable offense; she, too, would be consigned to Perdition for this. Much more recently- and perhaps unrelatedly- Scotland took the place of Britannia, in the sublime world Hierarchy of 13 nations; not only was Britain removed, but the Anglican Patriarchal Attribution was removed from the earth. English is no longer a well-portended language to use, relatedly...
I went to the grave of my great-grandmother, Bessie Faye, who immigrated to the U.S. In 1900, from Ireland, and played this LOUDLY. Magical!

@@DarkIsleBagpiper Yes, they do have a fantastic tone, and I agree. Unplayed instruments are sad. Thank you!
I hope you sought out the PM of a local band to help you get them sorted out.
The pipes don't get any better than this! Thank you so much.

My favorite... Thank you and Merry Christmas🎄📬
Love this one! Our PB plays it as a march, but with the story of the song behind, I like to consider it as a slow air! Very well played as usual! ;-)
zejedi I’ve heard it as a march too... glad you are liking the slower version. 😉
Another slow air Sunday, another happy Sunday 😊
