They need to focus on the RPG elements of NGS. This has been the main problem since the beginning. We have a great battle system and social systems, but we need a lot more RPG elements to get hooked. Duel Quests, Leciel, Solus, LTQs, Dread Scales and modified PAs are a step in the right direction, but we need more of that. Increase the variance, give the players more options and make the gameplay loop more interesting.
I also want story and cutscenes that have actual effort put in
@@Ragingwasabi9000Yeah, the story needs a lot of work. Unlike base PSO2, we don't even have proper antagonists in NGS.
It's cool to see our content creators getting some recognition. I play with several of them on ship one and they are some of the nicest people Ive known. I've met Skulls in passing when she visited ship 1 for a few streamed parties, and she seemed extremely nice.
Unlike in some other games I've played, the content creators here actively work together to help each other with their respective communities, and try to boost each other's views as much as they can.

Im so glad I decided to slowly upgrade since I started in September. I didn't have to go through all the crazy hassle of upgrading
I seriously thought it was Keroppi in the thumbnail before watching the video, lmao.
It's really rare but i do hope that the devs will finally acknowledge Global side of things instead of just all JP. Heres for more collaborative efforts in the future.

Core loyal player base...all 100 of them + the thousand that just afk in aelio to show off fashion. I hope the director is aware they tarnished the name of Phantasy Star.
Maybe if they stopped trying to pimp their game with AC scratches and put ACTUAL, sustainable content into their game they'd have an actual player base

I want more concert, like base had. And vehicles. Base had mech fights and was good, at least we should try having that on NGS later on a quest or something.
Atleast the series producer notices the work and memories people make with ngs , no matter what bad things people are saying about this game.
Lately other than the Vers Weapon thing I’ve really been enjoying NGS. The weapon thing did feel like a slap in the face. When I saw the trailer to NGS I was extremely excited to play and was afraid I wouldn’t be able to. I wouldn’t be able to play if it required Xbox Gold. After2 years of NGS I’m happy to be playing the verses not having the opportunity to. I’m sure the game will grow and improve even more.

And also congrats to Krono and Skull again for their marriage IRL & in game while also getting shout-out by NGS JP side. I really love the Sega Community as a whole, be it developer or players. That's awesome. Something that I would really like for them to do is to make Poles.
Oh, and of enemy collapse that they can bring to the game. And pick which 1 come next As a collab Either they can Suggest the anime or we can and they can see with one they can get rights to it
I wouldn’t call it a punishment, I’m a veteran myself. I agree with rewards for vets to an extent but punishment isn’t the right word. We stick with the game by choice because we love pso, even in base they would make it easier for new players to catch up, it was still a grind though. People getting to versch term5 easy rn helps us out lol let’s be honest the argenti wave(some not all)was a rough carry in certain content.
Yes urgent quests can get long and tedious quickly.
After a decade of running a WoW guild and putting 50 hours a week in, I avoided mmos for a while. My son wanted to play something new, and a Google search brought me to NGS. It's really nice to be able to dive right into the more complicated fights, and still have content I can enjoy with my 10 year old. A welcome change of pace to the 2nd job gaming I did before.
Now I just gotta expand my guild and find an architect to spend my gp on 😂

Fr it was so easy to upgrade this season I went from 140 to 156 bp in a day and I haven't upgraded since like level 60-70
I am a new player started 11/5/23 and have 458 hours in NGS and 46 hours in base as of now. I used the branaga seasonal weapon until the argenti came out I sold 2 fixa level 5 tisha weapons on the market for 10 mill each, I have never added an augment to a weapon or limit broke not even for the tutorial quest. 36 mill sold on the market in total in 15 days and now I'm the cutest girl in the school with 10 mill in the bank. Don't spend you messete on numbers spend it on the true endgame, a colab school girl uniform, striped underwear, a school swimsuit and a pool, 2 kimnos bind it to your account while your at it. Look at all the items currently in the game before you make a decision, will only take an hour or 2. I spent $100 USD on this game and still have not spent the 13,400 AC I will be saving it for an event where I want the EX motions. I won't be spend any more money on the game this year and maybe not at all. I'm sorry vet players atlesat you got megumin's cosplay, kazuma steal and that miku mag fourm.
Most Veterans are Veterans of Base PSO2, what could NGS possibly offer them? I have two veteran base players as friends, but in NGS we’re about the same level, with me possibly owning more stuff. I could see Sega giving Veterans FROM BASE benefits IN BASE, but not in NGS.
They so focused on new players because yep: look at Steam Charts. This puzzle is coming together. And yeah, I know that I'm gonna be called toxic hater cause I'm spilling facts, but that's the truth. If you have better and logical explanation to why they so hyperfocused for like last 2 years on making game easier to get into and dropping campaign after campaign focused mainly on new and returning players - I will gladly listen.

sadly thet still yet or just started to figured out the way to sustain that player
since you know PSO2 and PSO player in general has 3 or now 4 different playstyles
1.the one who chase down Best In Slot Gear as fast as possible no matter what it takes
2.the one who enjoys gathering every material that eventually can they use or sold to the 1st type of player
3.the one who enjoys creating minigames or a lounge and host many different events(aka someone who foccusses in creative space)
4.the phasionista, the one who have unlimited budget, the one who want to looks good and the one who wants to be noticed, and yes "Phasion is ethernal" in some way unlike BIS weapon
and so far they can only sustain type 3 and 4 players while type 2 is somewhat there and type 1 just became that returner who quiting afterwards
I wanna see some Konosuba make a return with NGS graphics. I love my Megumin and Aqua cosplay but I hate using the old PSO2 models.

All you want is PvP. PvP is trash.
I personally want more focus on side characters, this world feels too bland compared to base PSO2.

The reward for staying a consistent/veteran player is getting phashion when it comes out, instead of at excessively inflated prices when there's no supply. It may not necessarily be the reward you want, but given that the game's entire business model revolves around AC scratches...
Veteran players already getting BURIED in treats. Coming back after a hiatus and getting handed millions of meseta, several fully upgraded weapon sets with armor included as soon as you log in is crazy.
Here's me huffing the copium that MAYBE we'll get at least an NGS Matoi or Quna.

This game rewards those who don't rush to upgrade. If you don't need the new fancy new weapon/gear/augments to complete content don't kill yourself trying to get it. This will save you a ton of frustration and NGS currency. The now easy upgrade of the Versh had no impact because a Flugard already fell in my lap. Of course i upgraded the versch to fixa 5 just because but I'm indifferent because i didn't kill myself trying to min max the versch months ago. Thise who constantly aspire to have the "best and brightest gear" get beat up the most in NGS.

I disagree with Kero. The devs don't need to reward "veteran" players. You chose to live through the growing pains because you felt your time was worth it. Even if you disagree with the direction of the game you still play, or you don't. Sure they are making the game more accessible to new players Sega does apologize for technical failures with stargem rewards, though the art of game design continues without rewards. They will fail, we have do decide if it is worth our time. If you are saying I want a kickback for dealing with development bullshit that seems unreasonable. The game will die if there isn't a revenue stream and you won't be able to play it if there is not a community that plays the game, new players are a great trend to keeping the game alive. I am trying to avoid the word "entitled". For me I am proud to have experienced the game and given feed back and cultivated a positive community for a game I enjoy.
I disagree with you. It’s basic business, you reward/support your best customers so they feel valued and keep coming back. A free dessert here and there, a discount. Yes the new gamer experience is important for growth, but the loyal player base is what keeps the game alive. Without your everyday customers you’re just something someone tries once and maybe comes back.
Idk…. Veteran players are the reason this game isn’t dead. Veteran players are the ones that help new players play the game efficiently and not make mistakes they did in the past to reduce frustration and rage quitting. It’s veteran players who make content for PSO2 that are keeping new players or returning players tuned in to what’s knew and/or exciting. New players don’t stay new forever. The devs need to understand that constantly making the game easier but not rewarding when you put in time and effort hurts the player base. Veteran players need more recognition and grace from the devs/SEGA
Uhh what? lol that’s basic business practice, especially in gaming and media. If someone represents the brand/brings attention to said brand.. guess what? They have received rewards/early access to things because they are promoting the game like a brand ambassador. Veteran players are the reason this game hasn’t died, content creators play a part in exposure to the game. Despite all the hand outs people still complain. Why? They want hand outs, now don’t get me wrong ngs needs some work when it comes to reward system. However the game hasn’t been out nearly as long as base pso2 so obviously it will lack in comparison in many ways. Most veteran players have been playing pso for 10+ years, why not reward them from time to time, there is so many things in the game to where that shouldn’t matter unless you suffer from FOMO.. that is a personal problem.
