@@EpicureanEric For Chinese seafood restaurant, I recommend Koi Palace in Daly City. Their dim sum is good. For dinner, order their ‘Shanghai Style Crab w/Egg White’. They cook their crab. Get the meat out & stir fry w/egg white and dried scallop. Deep fry the claws and legs. For bakery, Ca Bakehouse in San Jose and Mr. Bread in San Francisco. Ca Bakehouse only opens 3 days a week and always has a long line. Mr. Bread is famous for Portuguese Egg Tart. Just ate at Ramen Nagi in Palo Alto. It’s ramen and broth tasted like the one in Japan. Their branch in Santa Clara always has a long line.

It is basil seeds. They soak the seeds overnight in water and then it creates that slime just like chia seeds.
