Berrys Hybrid Hollow points simple expansion test.

In this video I wanted to do a simple expansion test by shooting milk jugs filled with water with the Berrys Hybrid hollow points in 45 acp. The 230 gr. hollow points did just fine.

I'm carrying them now. After proving accuracy I shot them into layered milk jugs and layered denim. The layers of denin caught the perfectly mushroomed bullets that weighed 228grns or more. I slowed some down for my xds that still expanded nicely and shot well.

Nice. I have a Taurus Judge 45 Colt 3.5" barrel that is making 775 to 800 fps with 7.0gr of Bullseys, prettty much a max load for that short barrel. Hornady 250gr XTPs don't expand a bit, just peels back the jacket a little. I have some factory FTXs, but have been unable to catch one yet for examination while shooting through cat litter jugs full of water.
I've seen some of these on Brownells and Midsouth and found your video searching for Berrys Hybrid.

I was skeptical but now this will probably be my bulk defensive ammo to just load up and store away... I've also made the mistake of shooting water jugs way to close and know exactly what it's like to bring covered in stank water. LMAO
