Andrew - love this... would you anticipate any major problems if I was to 'supersize' the measurements to make a larger / higher outdoor table... angles / structure etc..? Maybe a third strut in the middle?
Hi Nigel, as a table, you will be fine. Make the top bigger by adding in longer and more slats. Make the legs longer, but move the pivot point to the center to ensure sufficient stability of the legs when open. Maybe also add in a brace from the center of the inner left leg to inner right leg too. That will be more than sufficient. I look forward to seeing your improvements. Regards. Andrew
