Yes. I glued and nailed the one side to the cross pieces but the other side it’s very important that it only attaches to the top. But to be safe you can just nail both sides to the top.
Great work Wes! Those turned out terrific. I was wondering if you were planning on putting a finish on them? Just curious............. 👍👍😉😉 Stay safe.............
Nice work...Hate to be the Safety Police But, you should be more concerned with eye protection than hearing protection. Both are important but your eyes are special....Be Safe !!!
It is a smart, space saving, easy to hold and carry and sturdy table, great and ingenious skills.
Aw thanks man. You made me blush lol.

Those guide blocks at @9:30 .... Just want to clarify. The second set are only fastened DOWN to the table top, and not to the crosspieces, correct?

Is this the Veritas plan that you followed? I need to build these! Great job on the build and I always enjoy your videos.
No plans. I based all the measurements off a table my in laws had purchased.
@@WesHamstra Sweet. If only I had those dimensions... LOL!
I built a pair from plans available at Woodworkers Journal from their July/Aug 1990 issue. Search for Folding Deck Table under plans. Cost is $1.00
Mesa simples mas muito útil.
