I’m carefully picking them so I don’t get too overwhelmed like I did in the past. Nice progress on the Porsches. Cliff rocks Haha that’s the only kit I picked up at NNL. Only one I needed for the collection. I all the ones I’ve seen built up look really nice. Do the right thing and start another kit!!! 👍🏻
Dude, I am so jealous, it's 91 and the AC is out again.... I didn't know Koenig made a 928. I need to add that to my list. Nice update. My Porsche GB kit should arrive tomorrow I'm excited to join in that GB.
That's looks the way my Matador looked when I took it out of the box. I've been fortunate to not had a kit with tire burns. Any old kit that I pick up gets opened as soon as I get home so that I can bag everything. It's going to be 88 here in Cali and it's going to get progressively warmer the next few days.
Hey Jason you should get yourself an ink jet printer along with decal paper take pictures of your bad decals then print it out and then clear coat it saves you money by getting new decals

I remember the race teams twisting the bodies to get better side bite off the corners. They even started doing it in NASCAR before they put a stop to it. The cars looked ridiculous going down the track.
Working on 3 of the ASA Camaros right now… hint… the glue connection between the frame and the rear axle “trailing arms” needs to be strong… I have built this kit close to a dozen times, only disappointing part of the kit is that joint. Possible one of my all time favorite kits to build….in that kit, there were two different tires, Hoosier or Goodyear, two different hoods and one of the 3 Camaro kits had a v-6. The decal company you may be thinking about is Polecat Decals… lots of ASA and short track decals available. Enjoy the kit
You're a busy guy! While you were reviewing all your gb's that you are in, I was thinking "Wasn't this the guy that said he was gonna limit the 2024 gb's??' lol I've had the folks at STS Scale Model Decals make some decals for me. They are good and reasonable!

If you ever want to thaw out let me know. LOL the heat index today is 106 currently and it’s only May. 🙄🤦♂️ It’s not gonna bode well for storm season.
One of the best ways to make a box stock build really stand out is the paint. So in my opinion definitely spend time on the finish, including polishing. Again just my opinion.
Just to try and help you out a little bit on that Vega kit those tires are completely wrong for that car that should be completely smooth like NASCAR that is an asphalt car are chassis are completely different than the modifieds for dirt and asphalt you need to have completely smooth tires on that those tires would be great on one of your street machine builds all four should be completely smooth
