I've got lab maingano hybrids. honestly for me i like them. they have turned into pretty fish. the yellow color with black bands and a blue shine on the gill plates and head. I'll never sell or trade the hybrids to my local fish stores. but love them in my tank.

Good video as usually. From my experience with flowerhorns they are very hardy fish and actually thrive in the parameters of a African tank (Seen this done several times) and the temps and ph are similar. The biggest factor is when the flowerhorn will turn on all the other fish. They will start off peaceful but it will end with with him beating if not killing the other fish.

I have a question? In an all peacock and Hap tank Do I need to buy females in order for my males to colour up or can I just buy all males and make an all male show tank?

We can say what we use and why, chemicals, salt or anything ... but we can not say how much and how often because each tank and the water is different, different needs so we can recommend something for others to use but each alone must decide how much it needs.
Feeding at the designated time does not exist in nature. John, you have a shop and you need to have clean etc but at home nobody needs to do that and even it is good to give them the opportunity to hunt or place food in the bottom of the aquarium to themselves may have to look for it and dig. After that, it looks beautiful.

Very new to hobby, only 4 months and already have 7 tanks. Need to know what the best food would be to feed MBunas that will also help with colour
    Thanks

@@KGTropicals Laos just to check with you since I've been basically watching almost all your videos the past few months, some more than once to make sure I provide the best for my fish.
Can I feed a general flake food that mentions it is for tropical fish. Reason I asked is that it looks like the betta's I have in the community tanks does not like it. It just floats by them
