    I've been watching all of your old videos on the Ducati bro. My cousin let me ride his 2022 V4S yesterday and I loved it. I'm a new rider and was surprised how easy it was to ride. I'm planning to get it soon as my first bike. Gonna take my time and use the electronics and power modes while I get better. I was focused on a 600cc but its not what I truly want. Im turning 34 soon and the V4S is gonna be a gift to myself. Hope you upload again soon bro.

      Hey Jamari thank you. I highly suggest you train up on something that isn’t too expensive. You will cry if you make a silly mistake like dropping your bike or worse…. It’s a lot of power but most importantly very expensive. But that’s your decision to make I just don’t advice you hopping on a liter bike your very first bike especially a Ducati since it’s very expensive. Take it from me as I almost dropped my Kawasaki 636 a few times; and it’s totally natural to drop it as it’s your first bike. Again just a suggestion. I’m glad I started on a 636cc not a liter. Ride safe, and maybe I’ll upload again but not at the moment. Thanks 🙏

      @@Jay15523 liter bikes are doable; you can easily de tune them to have the matching power of a 600cc .. it’s just the small things you don’t think about that you will eventually pick up as time passes. I personally would be scared to drop a very expensive bike because of lack of experience or get into a silly accident because lack of skill. Again not impossible to do, but if you do get a liter from the start just be conscious of those things . Ride safe

      @@ape_rider Will do brother. I’m approaching this process with a lot of humility and respect.

    Once you go down you should get back on the bike to not have that fear it happened to me already when I get back on the bike the fear of riding was I crazy once you go down you gotta get backup on a bike you know if it's not your bike just to get that fear out

    Is that just a handlebar quad lock on the triple tree? Not having my phone mounted is a pain and have been looking all over with no luck. Only see the 4evo one and don’t really want to go that route.

      @ape_rider  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup! Get the handlebar mount from Quadlock . It will mount to the triple tree by clinging on to one of the slots. Super easy to install!

      @@ape_rider thank you so much! Been killing me not having one. I just picked up a 2018 v4s my first ever Ducati.

      @@V4AndPoor No problem! It’s easy to maintain. Just make sure you have an official Ducati dealer do the big service at 15K miles.

    It must be very tough to sell that bike, not to mention ride a bike when you have so much passion for it. As they say, things happen for a reason and never say never. Who knows, maybe one day you'll be back on 2 wheels. Just stay safe and be happy.

      Thank you brother. I’ve got a lot of passion for riding just recently a lot has happened lately with me and some of my friends have also gone down. It was a wake up call for me to definitely ride safer for sure. I’ve got a ton of family that are opposed to bikes - absolutely hate it. But at the end of the day I know I’ll live my life how I want it. Just hard when you have external factors such as family that you care about saying get off that life.. It’s definitely easier said than done for them knowing nothing about bikes other than the news they watch about motorcyclists getting killed… It’s a touchy subject for sure. Thanks for your support man I appreciate you. It’s been months since I’ve ridden and I do miss the bike life.

      @ape_rider I totally understand where your family is coming from. Give yourself sometime. Flying is awesome and I know you love that, so keep that going for sure. If you ever visit Toronto in summer, let me know. You can ride mine anytime. You have my insta account

    Haven’t gotten a chance to seat on the panigale or RSV4, but I have sat in the R1. I’m 5’7. Compared to the R1 and Rsv4, can you order them by seat height? Thanks

    • @ape_rider
      @ape_rider  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know Ducati has different seats you can buy i would look into it. The R1 is a taller bike than the Panigale so you should be fine. I would recommend sitting on the bike before you make a purchase so you’re sure.

    The longer you leave it "not ridiing" the more daunting it will become, hope you get back on soon purely selfish reasons "entertainment" give a cheap cruiser a go, fear must not be indulged that shit spreads.
