How is the 2023 Panigale V4 holding in terms of heat so far? Is it rideable in city without getting extremely hot like previous years models? Please if you could provide me in detail on the heat it would really help as I'm thinking to purchase the 2023 but holding back because of heat issues. Thanks.
You are right to be concerned about the heat. The bike is hot! When I ride with leather pants it is noticeable but tolerable. Anything other than leathers it gets so uncomfortable that you want to get off the bike. Even to the point where I think to myself, “this might leave some scorch marks!” But I haven’t used any heat shielding either so, I’ve heard that this could help. Bottom line, there’s a lot of things about this bike to love. You have to decide if those things trump the heat. For me, it’s enough to own a panigale!
Shift Koncepts: Yes, very easy to get the bike up and down the stand and it does feel more sturdy. I like it because it makes working on the bike easier
Butler Seo: V4 comes with Showa manual suspensions and cast aluminum wheels. V4s comes with Ohlins semi active suspension, forged aluminum marchesini wheels, and a few carbon pieces. The V4 SP2 comes with carbon wheels different paint livery and probably a few things I don’t know about. Maybe someone else will comment. The biggest difference for me is that the V4 is about $24K, the V4s is about $30K, and the V4 SP2 about $40k. For me, the value is at the V4 for what I will use this for.
I got my 2023 V4S in December. The first thing I got rid of were those stupid info stickers on the side (saved them in the garage). It’s a beautiful bike, so no need for that superfluous crap. Enjoy!
demisx: yeah, my duc was part of the December batch too. From what I am hearing, the next batch will arrive in March. I have a few mods that I would like to do but I don’t go overboard. Congrats on the V4S!!!!
MAD Ronin: Absolutely!!! COTA is in the circuit for motoGP and I’ve been on that track with a 2017 BMW S1000RR & 2017 Ducati 1299. This bike stock is more than good enough and I would have to say better than my modded bikes. This bike is better than my capabilities on a track!

They also let me know a guy pre-ordered the same bike just a day after me but his won’t come in til March 😬 You’re gonna love it! These bikes are insane!!! Well worth the the wait.

@@dute007 : Good day to you too sir. Three things I noticed on my 1st ride home: 1) 1st gear is tall. 2) so smooth and fast I thought my units were in kph but when I got home I was in fact in mph. 3) this huge engine, as beautiful as it is, is hot!

The two cylinders while in neutral sound ok but when you put it in gear the sound is sooo good, it will put a big 😁 on your face. Not sure the db but has a deep sounding grumble. The change from two to four cylinders is easily audible with the helmet on. Congrats, you are going to fall in love with your duc!!!
daniel marx: thanks man I’m really enjoying the bike! Two cylinders are firing in neutral and the other two kick in when in gear. It’s really cool to hear the transition and clearly audible with helmet on. The design is to reduce heat and fuel consumption when at idle in neutral.

Lucky! I ordered mine in November, and it wont arrive till the end of March!! Does it only run on two cylinders when at idle in neutral? I didnt know that. How quiet is it with the stock exhaust? - ive been looking at exhaust options for when mine arrives, but theres not a lot of options out there, and some of them are massive $$$!
tigertim20: You’re going to love it! It does run on two at idle @ N then all four kick in once in gear. It has a nice grumble to it and I can tell it will sound good if I wind on the throttle but still breaking her in. I’m looking at exhaust options too and may go classic Akrapovic. Crazy 💵 but will make a move after break in!

@@robertsole9970 : I hear ya Rob. I still have my 2017 1299 base and as far as fit…the 1299 is much slimmer between the legs. The V4 is a bit wider and a bit nosier. In other words, imo the V4 tilts to the front as compared to the 1299. So, at the get go your ass is a bit higher in the air. Not much though. Other than that, you should be fine!
@@tebuchenself2882 I’ll see. My SA said I’d get my 250 dollars back if I didn’t like the way it felt and decided not to buy it. I’m tall so some bikes don’t fit. I sat on the 2018 V4 when they came out and I didn’t like the fit of the tank. I know for 2023 they changed the shape of the tank and changed the bar placement a bit.

If you are not familiar the F6B is essentially the Goldwing minus the back seat and reverse gear. It did not fit!!! It was ok but noooo! Not right for me. In its place I bought a 2019 BMW GSA 1250. OMG, soooo satisfied. Yo Rob, the bike has to “FIT” for u to be happy. Only you know this.
