You will need a Body Mount Chop (BMC) in order to fit this setup. Wheel & Tire setup: •Method 704 Bead Grip - Matte Black 17x8.5 Offset - 0 •Falken Wildpeaks A/T3W (E load) -285/70/ 17
Look at what Kai does on his channel Tinkerer's Adventure. He's a mechanical engineer who was able to mount 33's without a BMC. In most conditions except for driving on a beach, you'll get better performance and traction with pizza cutters, but you won't have that look of just going through the testosterone car wash.
You don't have to BMC to fit 33s! Just educate yourself on how to calculate proper rim offset and then let the legit shop adjust the alignment. I've seen morons cutting the mount without reinforcing it..good you did. I don't care if they get killed in the side impact crash, but once those idiots sell the car to another person that's not aware of unsafe bmc then it is a problem.
Thanks for the detailed vid. I was looking at the exact set up and I see that it looks awesome!
Just bought one same color awesome truck! Nice video

Can you share how much you paid in total with your set up ? Trying to get similar on my 16 GX

Maybe I miss it, what year is is GX? Do brakes and caliper fit inside the 17'' rim ?

Thank you! My bolt pattern is 6x139.7.

If running the same wheel (17x8.5) and tire (285/70/17) set up as Max here. What’s the perfect offset to avoid the BMC?
What's the setup for no cutting?
