Years ago a man who was an Evangelist got Pancreatic cancer. We went to visit him at home and he was playing his guitar and worshiping at the end of his couch. I was quite and shy and sat and listened as he spoke with my husband. The presence of God got very strong and I witnessed angels gathering around him. I didn’t say a word other than tears and peace overflowing. There were about 7 gathered around him, as he sang a song he had written. I continued to watch and it took my breath away. After the song my husband said it was time to leave. And The Lord told me to pray and place my hand on his belly. I asked him if it was ok and he said please!! I then told him about the Angels and prayed but was travailing as I prayed which was new to me!! He then spoke a word over me and I thought because of that he would be healed. He passed away a couple months later and I asked my spiritual mother what that was about. She said possibly there was some inner healing that needed to take place. I later found out He and a son he had were reunited and His wayward son gave his heart to Jesus. So healing happens in so many different ways.. As God sees fit for that person and situation!! And it taught me a lot. A double edged sword is how God used this whole beautiful thing.. ❤️🙏🙌🏼🙏

Francis is so real. He makes me want to be more like Jesus than any other speaker I’ve heard. I love that he’s humble enough and secure enough to confess in front of a crowd. God bless him.

I am afraid that because Francis is so close to God and so transparent and obedient, that others will turn on him. We need to pray that he continues on the path that God has placed him on. He is a voice in the wilderness for sure.

virgoee do not mistake appealing to emotions Godly. Francis Chan is without a doubt a vessel of God, but so are the others. The only negative for me is how he emotionally appeals to me, it is a bit over the top. Just like now with praying but that is ok..it just feels like attention seeking but i know i might be wrong. Only God knows who has the right heart..However, i still like to listen to him.

The question isn't I'd God still heals. Of course He can heal. The question is does any person have the gift of healing? If they do I wish they'd get in the hospitals and start using their gift. Especially the kids cancer hospitals. No one is doing it. Jesus and the apostles healed instantly every time.

Let’s not forget that the biggest gift for us from God is to be in His presence, when we pray for someone’s healing we have to remember that when God takes us home we will be healed. The first thing we have to teach people is that dying is not a bad thing when we know God, we don’t need to be afraid, we want to be here so that His promise in us is fulfilled but ones it is, it’s ok to go home.

I am a stroke victim. My stroke happened two years ago. It was a severe stroke, paralysing the right side off my body and severely affecting my speech. I have prayed constantly for healing. But this the answer I believe came from God. When I became a Christian I became an eternal being, therefore I am healed , not right now, but I am healed. The time of my healing is up to God who says in the book of Isaiah chapter 60 v 22 "At the right time, I, the Lord will make it happen ". I am not my own. Whether it be now I am healed or later on in heaven, It's up to God. My payer is that my life be honouring to Jesus my Saviour, as well as my death. I am healed never the less.

@@jimmyjam3753 You don’t have His authority, He does. Praying in His name means praying in His will. You can’t just pray for anything and then say “in Jesus name” like a magic spell and it will be done. Jesus told us to pray in submission to His will, and in James 4 it says not to ask wrongly and submit yourselves and your plans to God’s will.

So very true about pastors and the women in the congregations. Yes, sometimes I have felt "why don't you like me" and, even worse, "why don't you trust me?' It can be difficult, I understand. But, as women, we are on the back foot so much of the time. Let us feel freedom within the church, that we don't elsewhere in our lives and world.

Watching the part about healing right now. I have to laugh because they are trying to make sense of why healing happens sometimes and not others. Francis talking about the group that prays for healing and has more success.
My thoughts are this...why do we think we can make sense of God and how He operates? We continue to explain and make sense of each part of Him. We are essentially putting Him in a box and lowering Him to our level so that we can “understand” and explain Him.
God is God, He will never be fully known or understood until the day we see Him face to face.
We only know what parts He has given to us...and we have to trust that it’s enough.

What the gentleman said about Romans 8:28 is on target. In fact it’s a bull’s-eye. I’ve had epilepsy for 28 years, and I’ve been prayed for many times. I’ve known the Lord since I was a young boy, but for some reason he has not healed me. I can tell you with the upmost confidence, I would not be where I am today in my walk with the Lord or doing what I’m doing today in life if it were not for my physical affliction. And the other beautiful thing is God has provided what I’ve needed to get me where I am today, including a full scholarship and two fellowships to a major university. This time next year I’ll have my doctorate degree and will be teaching at a collegiate level. I thought I wanted to do something else in life, but God had other plans for me, plans I didn’t realize that I would love. I would not be here if it weren’t for a failed brain surgery and other things that have tested my faith and trust in the fact that He’s in control and “all things work together for the good of those who love him.”

Paul Whitehead have you considered the demonic because a lot of it is caused by it . In fact I believe 100% of cases in the Bible were. I have prayed for a person and commanded evil spirits to leave and prayed against witchcraft he was healed from one of the types of seizures he had but there was still more there . Sometimes we assume it is God not doing it but could He be saying to us when we ask him why He didn't heal some , "yes son but I did also command you to cast out evil spirits too" . God bless you

I found myself curiously watching the part about healing, the only thing I can say is that Jesus never turned away 1 person who came to Him for healing. He healed them all. If Jesus is the exact representation of the Father, then I believe it is always His will to heal. One of the names of God is actually “the Lord our healer” in the Bible. To watch men say that sometimes it is not God‘s will to heal baffles me I cannot find that in the scripture. In fact the scripture does state in at least two places in the gospels that whole crowds came to Jesus and he healed every one there. And it’s never right for personal experience to trump scripture. My ten cents.

@@michaelmaris7 there are many examples in the NT that would compel a believer to understand that it is not always God's will to heal. For example in 2 Corinthians Chapter 12 you see the apostle Paul pleading with the Lord for some form of healing, could be physical could be emotional, we don't know for sure. What is God's response?
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
How does Paul respond to God's denial to heal him? Does he pray more to be healed? Does he "claim" healing and try and force the issue with God?
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
No he doesn't. Not only does he recognized God's sovereign hand over his lack of healing, he rejoices and embraces it. In so much as to boast of it so that Christ may be exalted as superior to healing. This is just one example.
There are wolves in Christianity, they teach people that it is always God's will to heal, always. This is simple not true and provable time and time again in God's word. I would beg you to not listen to them. I would encourage you to read chapter 2 of 2 Peter and learn what false teachers look like and what happens to those who follow them. Health and wealth is not guaranteed in this life, in fact Christ promises suffering to His followers time and time again, do not say "no" to Christ our Lord and say "yes" to a false teacher.

Gifts are not one-off manifestations. "Gifts" would suggest a particular life-long ability that is consistently demonstrated through a particular believer . They cannot be explained. You cannot tell why believer X gets people healed when he prayers for them and why believer Z does not, but the same believer Z can get people to understand Prophesies through his "declarations" while believer X cannot.
It's just God's doing and its marvelous in our eyes.

There is so much scripture to back up healing. One Jesus healed many, we are to be representatives of Christ and to do as He did. Are just make excuses because we don't want to actually lay our life down. Jesus had compassion so He prayed on others so may we actually be moved by compassion to do the same! Jesus said we would do greater works so..... to include Luke 10 where 77 sent out and healed in Jesus name so why not us? Healing is God's word and it is His will so let's not change His word or will because we are in disbelief

We do not even know why we pray for? We PRAY FOR THE SPIRIT TO COME. Then the spirit who puts all things in order and raised Jesus the Christ from the dead does as he does pleases. We do not get it but God desires for us to see what is true! We desire greatness over the truth of God. We get in the middle way too much. There is too much of us to even get through the cross of his son!

If you don't know if it's Gods will to heal how can you have faith in the first place to pray for healing . If it's not Gods will you cant change his mind.
That's why we need to understand from biblical exegesis that it is Gods will go heal. Not from our experiences but from the truth of Gods word.
Jesus healed all who came to him. He is God and he never turned people away saying " It's not my will."
He also never walked around and cursed people to make them sick. So many Christians think that because God is sovereign he also makes everyone sick. Jesus never made anyone sick.
He said I have come to reveal the Father. With this is mind and his commandments in Luke 10, Mark 16 to go and heal the sick I go with full confidence that my father is backing what I am doing so it will bring him glory and confirm his word.
It's also not Gods will that people are sinning (even Christians) or that there are people dying without hearing the Gospel. Yet these happen all the time. Why do we get so confused about healing?
If you look at Mtthew 16 with the epileptic boy. Jesus disciples pray and nothing happens. When Jesus prays he is healed. Does it mean that when the disciples prayed it wasn't Gods will? No that's silly because Jesus rebukes the disciples for being a faithless and corrupt generation. He tells them
If they have faith as small as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible for YOU. Not for God. But it's now changed to us.
When we know that we have the power of the Holy Spirit an the authority of Christ to heal the sick it is settled...

Mostly agree with you, but just for the shake of arguing:
Maybe it wasnt God's will for the child to be healed at THAT particular moment. It had to be done by Jesus for him to give another lesson of embrassing true faith. So when Jesus prayed and the healing happend, it was simply the right moment. If the kid was healed by the student's they could have gone greedy and thinking it was their power alone.
Something I would like to have your opinion in,
Some people say that even if you pray and the person is not healed, its a test of faith delivered to you by God. Whats your take on that?
