That's one of the few times I actually had a physical/audible reaction to a movie/boo/tv show ever. I mean, usually I would just smile if what I'm watching is enjoyable, but when watching that and understanding what it meant, I did genuinely say "oh shit" out loud.
I love how excited you are about Rose coming back. It's such a great episode, too (and definitely one of the darkest episodes). The premise of this episode was actually set up in episode 1x04 of _The Sarah Jane Adventures,_ in which the Trickster mentioned at the end of this episode was the primary antagonist.
I laughed so much during this reaction. Particularly when you sang along with Bohemian Rhapsody and at the end, when you were super excited. I like that you walk around your room when you're hyped. :D

One of my all time favourite episodes. Donna was fantastic, but for me, the highlight was Rose's return. I was 11 when this episode aired and even now 10 years later, I still get overexcited watching it! Yup, you're so right - there was a lot of trepidation when it was announced that Catherine Tate would return as Donna because a lot of fans thought her shrill and unpleasant in The Runaway Bride - the the series 4 was a revelation - so good, especially the run of the episodes that made up the second half.
I love this episode so much. I love a good "what if" story, and this is one of my favorites (right after the Framework arc in AoS). Plus it showcases just how awesome Donna is. She's the best. :)
Great reaction! Your shock in Rose appearing was brilliant! I’m assuming you missed the opening titles this time😁 This is a very powerful and emotional episode. Now you know what they foreshadowed in episode 2 with they told Donna there is something on her back. Really showcases how important Donna is to The Doctor and it also shows the darkness and bleakness of a world without the Doctor. The fact that Sarah Jane, Martha and others lose their lives in this reality makes it really bleak. Seeing Donna break down is sad too. Rose also acts like The Doctor in this episode as she shares his mannerisms and traits for both speech and body language. The stars disappearing is a really scary feel and the realisation of those people being sent to labour camps really breaks my heart. The scenes with Rose and Donna are so great especially when she prepared her for time travel. I love how excited you were during those final moments which were building up for the reveal. Donna has told The Doctor and now the hype for the finale begins! I’m so excited for the next reactions! Love your enthusiasm!😁
Yay, Rose is back!! I remember binge watching every episode after Doomsday in one go just to see if or when she would finally come back because I didn't want to accept she was gone for good, lol. Turn Left. definitely made the wait worth it.

Totally agreed about Catherine Tate. She was known as a comedian before this and had a very famous sketch show (she did a sketch with David Tennant you might wanna check out!) I totally didn't anticipate her acting chops. Her reaction to the Ood's song, Pompeii... she is so good!
I'll probably get some hate for this, but I hated how RTD did seasonal arcs. I'm going to be interested to see how Shayla reacts to Moffatt's run. Very very different in many ways to RTD's run. Kthulhu well I mean the Bad Wolf arc is pretty the same thing as Clara’s. Random Phrase or Person appearing throughout time and space without any rhyme or reason only to be solved in the finale. RTD just used the Bad Wold message in Turn Left for the Doctor to understand the severity of the situation. However, end of the day it’s all opinion. Some like certain eras and some like others. The point is we are all WHO fans

The way it goes between the comedy moments with Donna, and the heart wrenching seriousness sucks you in so easily. The best is still yet to come.
Shaylas been waiting.! A lot of the UK were waiting for months for something like that and then we had to wait a week for the next broadcast at the time from the BBC. We had plenty of time to process the anticipation and hope.

this ep is one of the saddest, the family leaving and Wilf saying "It's happening again" omg... fucking tears. Then you come to the realization that without Donna there to stop the doctor he would have died. Literally that was after he lost Rose, he was so emotionally messed up without her that Donna helped him leave.
The villains from this episode are actually loosely related to another villain that was created for the Sarah Jane Adventures, so if you do react to that, it'll be awsome!
So it looks like Rose retains a connection to the Tardis, which gives her access to its knowledge when it needs her to, which is basically divine omniscience doled aout according to whatever is happening, as with the Doctor (the Tardis is God, effectively, omnipotent and omniscient as a result of existing simultanously in every timeline and place, just not the actual Creator and not directing systematically but just haphazardly depending on the Doctor's whimsical travel planning. But then again, the Tardis has been jumping randomly for a very long time, in past seasons, so it could be choosing where he goes after all. Not sure if that's a spoiler, but it's just what I think). My assumption is that it's the Tardis telling Rose what to do and enabling her to phase around as required, rather than Rose having any such power or knowledge autonomously.
