    I really cannot believe that a piano beginner can play Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu so well. You are absolutely amazing.

    Why would you even play this after 1 year of piano ?.. I’m going to be 100% honest with you, it sounds bad, and out of rythme. Piano is not about playing the most difficult pieces after only a few months of practice, it’s about « touching people’s hearts throughout the music you play ». Lang Lang said that. Why do you think professional pianists train the same easy Waltz or Nocturne everyday even though they can play it entirely ? It’s to train their expression, accents, etc... Everyone can play la Campanella after a few months of hard dedication. But not everyone can touch our hearts with it. I want you to understand this, as piano is not a rush, a speed competition, and an object to show-off with. I hope you got what I tried to say, but keep training ! Simply start with something easier. I’m sure you have the potential to become a good pianist if you change your mindset. Fantaisie impromptue is very nice but there are pieces that are 100 times more beautiful and easier out there. 頑張れ! (do your best in japanese, sorry for my bad english)

      Lebron Ramsay Bruce sounds good and u can still here the emotion and his playing style still has elegance. Yes it’s not *the best* but he said it’s after a year. He also never bragged anything about being able to play super fast and he’s just excited about showing his progress. No need to say that the piano playing in this video is BAD or out of rhythm. It’s not.

    Gosh, man, get yourself a metronome. And try to slow down the pace in Mozart's rondo and Chopin's Fantaisie Impromptu. It's not about playing as fast as you can.

      Can't comment on the Rondo as I don't play it. But the FI isn't actually too fast. More of uneven with a rushed feel. This happens when the 4-on-3 is played out of rhythm or if the recording is spliced from multiple different parts. I only noticed a video change at 10:20 though, so it's probably an uneven 4-on-3 for the most part. Skipped notes are plentiful, and the extra 2 sets of arpegs in the beginning are very glaring. A good attempt nevertheless!

    The only way I was able from zero to college level was to memorize my music sheets and listen to better players on recordings. If you went this route then what you did is believable. If trying to get good reading sheet music, you'll fail.

    I've been playing piano for around 9 years, and i know fantasy impromptu is a difficult piece, i think you played it well but I also think that it needs more expressions because the magic of that piece are the expressions in my opinion, of course that also the speed is important but that already applies well when the piece is already learned with a good base time. I learnt fantasy impromptu 3 years ago, and that was a challenge for me but i could learn it a month after, practising first with one hand and then with both and doing exercises for the time speed.
    You are doing well, keep going!

    Ur good but i wouldnt suggest learning hard pieces right away speaking from experience here i was able to play moonlightsoanat 3d mov after 8 months of learning piano but it truly broke my hand technique and gave me a lot of tension on my hands ik it might feel good at first but try learning more easy pieces and etudes and stuff before going straight to the hardest pieces because ur hands wont be able to take it

    • @jasiuo6794
      @jasiuo6794 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree completely, I picked up terrible habits when I did that and my wrists still suffer from it now, as well as occasionally reverting to too much tension and robotic expression

    • @gus912
      @gus912 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its probably because you didn’t do it right, I’ve been learning piano for nearly 5 months since January and the first piece i tried learning was Chopins Ballade no1 because it was the first page on a book I have, and Im more than halfway through it now and my technique is fine, I always practice a part im struggling at low speed for like an hour and then after i play normally to see how if its good and its helped a ton, plus these hard pieces help you learn alot of new stuff and atleast for me it inspired me to keep playing and getting better so I could play it one day at a concert or something, it doesnt mean i dont try to learn other easier pieces Ive learned the prelude28no4 and Nocturne 20 in csharp minor and other pieces that my piano teacher has given me, and those have also helped a ton but learning hard pieces wont do harm unless you do it wrong

    • @wage6681
      @wage6681 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gus912 gotta agree with you here. Practice correct technique while learning new pieces and you won't have a problem. As long as it is not a hand stretching problem i.e. reaching big intervals. I learned fantaisie impromptu having been playing piano 4 years and I thought it would be too hard. But I sat down, practiced slowly and with correct technique and a month or two later I know a very difficult piece that I can play rather well. Are some pieces too hard? Absolutely. But it shouldn't stop you from trying. You can always re visit

    • @gus912
      @gus912 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wage6681 Yeah i actually finished learning the ballade no1, just have to keep up the tempo like on the coda, so far my technique is still good definitely better than when i wrote my first comment, and ive progressed really far on the piano so definitely learn any piece u want if u have the patience and u do it right.

    I think the Clair de lune would sound nicer at a slower tempo and pausing on notes at the end of the phrase which you could certainly do, but its just a matter of taste

  • @威廉-m8n
    @威廉-m8n 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Clair de lune should be played at a much slower speed and rhythm. When you practice use a metronome and follow the time signature. Also don’t use pedal when practicing
