I love them. I’d describe them as a kind of “extreme” spice if you aren’t used to spicy stuff. But if you regularly eat spicy food you would love them. They are really approachable for high spice tolerance peeps ❤
These are a staple in my house, I keep the single serving ones in the paper cups on hand to take for lunch at work. You can also buy the hotter sauce they use in a bottle, I keep that at work and turn regular 58 cent ramen into the Buldak spicy ramen. Good stuff.
The heat falls off quick which is nice, and makes you just keep wanting more. Love the flavor. Glad you guys cooked it stir fry style. I see too many treat it like a cup o noodles.
@@krytenfivetwothreep2485 Yeah, I believe stir fry style noodles tend to be more dry than compared to cup noodles. Also I am glad they did cook it stir fry style because watering down the noodles with the sauce with water kind of ruins the experience imo.
I’ve been eating these every day. They're so good. Glad to see you trying them, now I can understand just how hot the chili sauces and everything you make must be.
Tried these ramen yesterday for the first time.. Bought a 5 pack, still has 4 more to go. I'm writing this from my toilet where I have been glued since early this morning. These ramen tastes amazing but if your stomach is somewhat like mine. Be prepaired to take a day off after eating them.
Yeah it depends how you make it. If you prefer watery noodles it's gonna be less strong than if you use more water. Also yeah my stomach felt bad after eating these as well
I eat these twice a week. The heat is definitely a grower. When you’ve finished your food your mouth just gets hotter and hotter for about 15 minutes and then it fades. The flavour is really good. When I prepare them, I boil the noodles and drain, add a load of grated mozzarella, add the sauce sachet, mixed it up so the cheese is melted and thickens the noodles, put the noodles on the plate and then add the seaweed and seeds sachet. It’s a lovely meal I must say. Thanks for the video!
I had them a couple of years ago, can't remember if it was 2x or 3x. It wasn't unbearably hot but it made my eyes water - never had that happen with spicy food before. The flavour was really good though!
Haha. Awesome clip. I agree that it burns the lips the most. 2x made my nose run. 3x had a similar taste (if i remember correctly. was a while between I tried 2x and 3x) but quite a lot hotter. For some stupid reason I cooked it as a midnight snack when my stomach probably was quite empty. That wasn't a good move. I actually got mild stomach cramps from the 3x. I would try it again though after having had something else 😄
I think they are 8000 but you have to remember it’s like eating peper after peper after peper. It just builds and builds. So it starts at 8000 and then goes waaaay up to like 250.000 😂
i eat these regularly, keep them as a pantry staple. too many channels like to overexaggerate eating them on youtube for the views. thanks for keeping it real, yes they are spicy but enjoyably so.
Love these noodles. I don’t have them often but keep a 5 pack in the pantry for when the mood strikes. I’m not sure where I fall on the spice tolerance spectrum, but there are right about at my tolerance level. They start out ok but then get hotter and hotter. The most painful is when I’m done the bowl and have to deal with the lips burning. What keeps me coming back to them is just how tasty they are. I really, really love the flavour.
just had some today. they were some of the best noodles i've ever had and i finished eating it quite quickly but it was immediately afterwards when i felt the burning. had to drink 3 glasses of buttermilk before it finally wore off
These noodles are great, and the serving size is perfect, have the three levels of heat always in my pantry, the black ones are an every day type of noodle, these 2x are great to clear the sinuses and the three timese ones are just savage, the extract burns like the bomb with little redeeming flavor that shows through, a quick fix for anyone who claims they can eat any spicy food, they tend to go very quiet after the first bite as the sweat builds rapidly. look forward to seeing your take on them. Highly recommend these noodles but be warned that they make all other noodles pale in comparison.
Love this stuff, I often have it for lunch and then suffer through the next meeting at work. I can only tell the difference from the 3x the next day, so I stick to 2x if available. 🌶️🥵
Flavor wise I think it's not bad, but the noodles were a bit lacking. Never tried 3x spicy, but *Mamee Monster X Daebak Ghost Pepper noodles* is the hottest noodle/sauce i have tried.
Our local "Far East Market" (Asian market) keeps these in stock and cheaper than Amazon, they usually have the spicier ones, too. These are always in my cabinet for a quick lunch/etc. I also buy the sauce in bottles to keep on hand so you can turn regular ramen or other soups into spicier and tastier versions of themselves.
@@Chris-wz6hv Lol yeah, the day after was painful I still remember the pain. It’s crazy that it was 8 months ago I ate these, it feels like it’s been like 2 months lol
these are great for when you want something spicier but you have work the next day, the 3x are good when you want to get punched in the face with spice, but your innards will turn into a volcano the day after! the standard black packs (1x spicy) are my favourite, hot enough to give you a spice hit but with more emphasis on the flavour :) i was gobbling down a lovely bowl of 2x while i typed this, they definitely get spicier and spicier! first bite is easy, several minutes after you've finished eating is the hottest point!
I love the Buldak original and 2x spicy ones with some minced meat, spring onions, extra chillies etc. It's not as spicy with the extra ingredients, and makes it more of a meal. I find that it's only spicy when you stop eating.
I love these noodles. I eat them fairly regularly, either when I don't have the time to prepare a real meal or simply because they've turned into an actual guilty pleasure of mine. If they're not still hot enough to have steam clearly coming off of them when you start eating them the "perceived spiciness" will be significantly lower than intended. So if someone "challenges" you to eat them, especially if you're sensitive to spicy food, don't eat them the way I like them (right away as they come out of the pot or pan and are still steaming profusely). Give them just a couple of minutes to cool off slightly and the challenge will be significantly easier.
I always pick up two 5-packs when I'm at Market Basket and it's available. This is the best, hottest, off the shelf ramen I've been able to find. I love it!!! I've only seen the original and 2X, never the 3X (I wish!!!)
I haven't tried those spicy noodles but we have a restaurant here in town called Bulldok that had those kind of noodles and it was hot! Very good though.
3x is definitely spicier, so much so that I don't recommend eating on an empty stomach if you have any cramping tendencies (like I do). Great video, love all your stuff, stay spicy! 🔥 🔥 Edit: I also did not drain them which makes them even more spicy lol
Hooray! Finally! I really love the regular 1x Hot chicken flavour which are pretty warm. There's a bit of a step up to 2x spicy so I really wanna know what 3x is like too. Where did you manage to get some from?
So good! And great recommendation😁 The 3x Spicy is now on Amazon. When I got the 2x Spicy, they were nowhere to be found! (I linked them in the description
@@ChilliChump really glad you enjoy them. When we first recommended them, they were definitely on the upper limits of my tolerance but now they're regular lunch 😅 Gonna go get some 3x! Thanks for letting us know they're available.
This was fun! We eat these all the time for lunch, but usually add raw super hot peppers. ❤️ We did the x 3 on our channel and ate 3 whole ghost peppers with it. 🔥🔥🔥
I always wonder if the ones in the packet are hotter than the ones in the cup, because the ones in the packet you “stir fry” for a bit with the sauce, which I wondered if maybe released a bit more spice?
The 3x are nice and hot ... You can get the sauce as well we actually had normal noodles with the sauce over the weekend.... The sauce also make a nice hot wing
The 2x spicy for me out of how spicy they were was a 8/10 on the spice scale for me, the only ones spicier I ever had were like shin ramyun noodles, pure unfiltered pain. That was a 10 for me. I'm thinking of tackling the 3x spicy at some point.
So many things say spicy and they end up being just warm with little to no real kick. These are for real spicy but also delicious. Don't make the mistake I did the first time of doing the normal ramen thing where you leave the water in and make a soup because its basically undrinkable and you waste a lot of the spice.
I recently went grocery shopping with my wife, I saw these noodles and said I wanted to try them and she said it's too spicy. After seeing this video, she was right.
I'm having fun with this video because you finally tried spicy Korean noodles, and I especially love the brand 'Samyang,' one of the biggest Ramen brands in Korea. There is so much spicy food in Korea; we have only a few types of chili here. Maybe it's good for you to have a chance to grow ‘Chungyang' chili! Thanks for your sharing, by the way :)

I have eaten this but not with a bowl. I take a fitness protein shaker put in one of these. Big mistake. Because I don't drain the soup I get a ridiculously spicy stuff going down the throat that is hard to get rid of. I enjoy most other non spicy ramen this way but not spicy ones
Thankfully any new groth looks OK but I have lost a few leaves over the last few days. I'm in the Midlands and it's gone from being cold at night and having to bring them in straight into a heat wave.
I eat a-lot of spicy stuff pretty much every day but i gotta say these are really hot but super tasty my face is sweating right now thinking about it lol
Wow i bought those in a random grocery store in germany. Thought not much of it. took one bite and i thought "damn thats hot" then i took a second one and totally regretted my decision. but since im poor and the flavour was amazing i ate 3 more bite. After that all hell broke loose. I just came back from a 30 min Bathroom trip where i puked my soul out and died of heat....... Now im watching your video to check if im insane ... *copium activated*
I've had these noodles before a few times. They are very tasty, but I honestly had to add a good bit of Carolina Reaper powder to it to get the spice level I desired. Very good nonetheless:-)

Lovely video
I add sugar or brown sugar to it ot will make the spice not as intense
I have eaten this but not with a bowl. I take a fitness protein shaker put in one of these. Big mistake. Because I don't drain the soup I get a ridiculously spicy stuff going down the throat that is hard to get rid of. I enjoy most other non spicy ramen this way but not spicy ones
Never heard of having noodles that way. Must be handy for on-the-go!
Need more chilli grow updates. Mine have not liked the heat wave.
Next one will be next Friday! Mine are ok with the heat....but it is a tough job balancing the watering right now. Need some rain to refill my tanks.
Thankfully any new groth looks OK but I have lost a few leaves over the last few days. I'm in the Midlands and it's gone from being cold at night and having to bring them in straight into a heat wave.
You are bound to lose some leaves. Not a major issue. Should recover just fine!
Thank you. Keep up the good work. 🌶
me wathcing this while accidentally buying this and crying
That is crazy
didnt he say he had trouble looking for 2 x yet hes eating 2xs ?
3x. I have some now
I just buy the sauce and mix it with ketchup or add it to other bands
i got really used to the spice but never the pooping part so i quit eating these xd
I think those are hotter than the 3x to me
Absolute HOTTEST soup I ever had.
Ate it like a boss. No drink either.
if you had soup, then you made it wrong
@@-EchoesIntoEternity- you’re not very bright are you?
@@Hotsauce-cj7kj look at the tough guy who cant even make proper instant noodles

I’ve found tooth paste to be the best heat “queller”
I've had these noodles before a few times. They are very tasty, but I honestly had to add a good bit of Carolina Reaper powder to it to get the spice level I desired. Very good nonetheless:-)
Tried number 10 “hot ones” hot sauce numerous times and I think this samyang 2x is hotter in a different way… maybe because this lingers
It’s tasty but that’s all I feel.😊
I am watching grown men eat ramen.... It's on me really 😅
Can an Indian who has tried it review its level of spiciness for me?
Just try it. If you like spicy curry food you will like this. If you think its not spicy then you can add more chili
@@failtolawl I tried it with half the sauce and even that was too spicy for me😭
