Here in Mexico we do eat maruchan from time to time... but that tapatio sauce is mostly for mexican american people, couse here we like valentina the most (at least here in Baja)
Tapatío is good on certain foods, I’m Mexican from california so I grew up with all diff kinds of bottled salsas. Tapatío is more liquidy & is good on beans, potato chips, and cup noodles. Valentina is amazing, the texture is nice and thick and that one’s good also on salty snacks. Cholula is my favorite for breakfast, on eggs and meats it’s nice and tangy. But I agree, Valentina is the best!

I always "doctor up" my ramen or cup of noodles. I'd add leftover veggies like broccoli and cauliflower and a sliced boiled egg. Lots of coarse ground black pepper too.

I never got cup noodles as a kid because the no-cup packaged noodles were so much cheaper. We called it square soup as kids because the noodles come in a block that you cook in boiling water on the stove. Top Ramen was always better than Maruchan, but that has changed. Now they both have unacceptably mushy noodles, and Nissin's Cup Noodles are even worse. I love the Buldak one, though! If you like the noodle part to be really good, check out Nissin's Raoh line. Or the Paldo brand from Korea, which I like even better.
nongshim's noodle textures are really good to me (the blocks more than the bowls, but the bowls are still better than other brands' bowls/cups), and i see a lot of their options at walmart.
@@fructiferous I'll second this. The Nongshim Shin Ramyun (now called Shin Noodles) Gourmet Spicy flavor is my go-to instant noodles. Delicious, spicy, and the noodles themselves are way better than the other brands commonly available in supermarkets.
I love them all lol It was wholesome to see they all had a preference and explained why they liked what they did, in conclusion there is no right answer. It’s all in what you prefer 😊
If you eat a lot of cup noodles, consider getting a hot water dispenser. It dispenses boiling water quickly and offers the improved taste of the boiling water and the convenience of the microwave at the same time.

The Buldak noodles are sooo sooo good..Samyang also just has "original" flavor. The broth in that one is tasty with just a minor kick in the tounge. One other ramen I freakin got obessed with in 2020? was Ottogi's Jin Spicy Ramen!!! That has an amazing flavoured broth, it is somewhat similar to the amazing Shin Ramyun by Nongshim...OH YES I LOVE SPICY RAMEN! But I can't do the 2x Buldak...that was way too hot for me to handle...lol!

You are not supposed to microwave cup o noodles. If you read directions it says in a separate container boil water in the microwave then pour into cup o noodles cup.

Have you tried Mi Goreng Indonesian noodles? Those are incredible hands down my favorite instant noodle! They’re not spicy but so savory and garlicky
