Thank you for trying all the things for us so we can pick a subscription that suits us best. I have started quilting again after like 7 year's. I used to subscribe to the fat quarter shop box, but for me I kept getting stuff I didn't like and it was not always a quilt box and it disappointed me. So now thanks to your video I have better options. I saw a couple that sparked my interest.

So glad I found this! I have been trying to research some monthly kits and finding out things is better from word of mouth than paying and being unhappy. Comprehensive is right. So glad to have found this. I watched it twice! I even ended up subscribing to the Cotton Cuts puzzle quilt BOM because it looked like so much fun. I also have been doing the sew sampler from Fat Quarter shop for over a year now. Also they have lots of other clubs. To solve the problem that most of these kits do not have backgrounds, I did a couple things. First I subscribed to FQ Shop’s low volume FQ club and gots lots of low volume FQs to use for scrappy backgrounds. I also bought a bolt of off white fabric when it went on sale! No more scrambling for BG fabrics when I want to start a project.
Btw the sound didn’t bother me. I just pretended it was ASMR.

those are great solutions. Not having everything you need with some of the subscription boxes does make it a challenge. I now do a Mystery Quilt that is not a subscription, but it does provide all the fabric needed (including background and backing!).

Great idea to have them all together to compare. I get the sewer’s club project box because they are in Canada amNd I can afford the shipping. Unfortunately for most of the others they don’t ship to Canada or the shipping is as much or more than the box! That is why I love channels like yours where I can enjoy your boxes!

@SoftSquares idk lol I like collect things it might be bad I use to do make up boxes and buy the yearly subscriptions and I did have alot stuff I never used but I had fun opening them, I've watched your video twice I definitely have open gates, I've tried cotton cuts I'm not fan of them even tho I love there stuff. That creative notions 100% will probably subscribe to next

The Creative Notions subscription has peaked my interest, so I will be looking into that one. I am also participating in the Cotton Cuts Mystery quilt monthly puzzle block and am enjoying that one very much (love that everything comes cut and ready to sew!

Yes I do! They are all slightly different; it depends on what you are looking for. I like the project boxes and the fabric stash builder boxes.

One of my favorite boxes is Creative Notions.
What is a notion?
Notion is a term that is used in the quilting sewing world. It sums up a lot of things needed to sew. Mainly tools like scissors, ruler, pins, thimble, cutting mat, rotary cutter and more. I hope this helps.

I had no problem with the sound quality.
I’m so disappointed in the quality and value of the sew what box. I regret purchasing 6 months.
It is my understanding that she is making improvements to the boxes, so let's see what happens.
@@SoftSquares I did make the October placemats for a friends birthday however if I didn’t know how to fix the warped strips then it would not have looked good at all. The backing fabric was very thin and cut too small as well. I hoped for quality but the two I’ve received have been disappointing and to cancel she will charge a $40 fee which is so wrong.
I was really looking forward to this breakdown of subscription boxes. The problem is that you keep going away from your microphone so you cannot be heard or understood. I have to keep increasing my sound and even then I hear what sounds like muttering. I will look for anyone else doing these comparisons. A shame.
