I LOVED that tree house. It was popular in Disneyland, and many of us were devastated when the park changed it to the Tarzan theme. Glad to see it is still in Florida.
My provost park pass mask finally came today yay I’m so happy.
Impossible to watch without hearing the "Swisskapolka" playing in my head......
The attention to detail and care those goes into these walk through attractions is what sets Disney apart. I love the music at Tarzan’s in Disneyland too! Even just walking past is fun. Great video guys!

Like Miles, I love the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. And I'm 70 years old (in 2 weeks).
I sort of remember the day a new ride opened in Disneyland, Anaheim. I had to first climb the treehouse. When I got to the summit there was the plaque about the Tranquility Lookout & being able to look out over their small world. Then seeing in the distance the que of the new ride. IT'S A SMALL WORLD.
Also the reason the boys bedroom was built for a year was if Mother didn't get a house and bedroom of her own she was going to sleep on the beach...and Father wasn't going to GET ANY. If ya' know what I mean.
Chris have you got any inside poop on how the book don't deteriot and root laying out in the rain, humidity, or sun? HMMMMM?

I grew up watching Swiss Family Robinson, so I’m thrilled this still exists! I know we can listen to some music at the base of the Rosie O’Donnell tree at Disneyland, but it’s just not the same.

Love the video! Most people don’t consider the life style of living on an island. No bug control. No deodorant. No bunch of stuff. Hah would still like to try it for a week or so. 😀. They should have built a tree house in that Tree of Life in animal kingdom. Would have been cool. Put a Tarzon thing up there maybe.

I had never seen it before until a few years ago as an adult. We rented it before one of our trips and it was actually pretty good! I think it was made in the 60’s.

Hear me out, since you guys are obviously home and not able to go to Disney as much as usual, if you guys have a vr headset, you could ride rollercoasters on it and I think it would be a great vid!
I loved this movie as a kid and my favourite part was the treehouse. I wanted to live in it so bad!
Regrettably, I never did the one in Orlando. I DID do the one in Disneyland (Tarzan's Tree house) Wondering If "Uncle Walt" spent the night up there? After eating @ the restaurant near the Blue Bayou, I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes + apple pie for dessert (mid day meal) I "walked" off some of those calories enjoying the vistas, elevations & wonderful water falls of this "hidden treasure" There WERE other park visitors enjoying it as well. Great job Walt! Great job Chris!!!

The leaves do get worn out and need to be replaced/ refurbished
The original at Disneyland was my favorite. Once it became Tarzan it just looked cheap to me. I miss it.

How did that pump organ in the tree house become electric? I was wonderin. If the electric inside that pump organ wasn’t there I think it could of been used as the original pump itself
"Leg Burner"... Too bad Disneyland changed it to Tarzan, yet Tarzan has been forgotten (like that Splash Mtn. thing.) Swiss Family came out when I was born, 1960.! July 17,1805..amp it up by 150, to 1955..Disneyland opening day (as Chris noted).
I think it's time to change it back to Swiss Family Robinson in Disneyland!
