I highly suggest going around Conton City and talking to the NPCs. Sometimes you can trade items for better ones or they’ll just give you stuff like pudding. Also masters are a necessity to get more moves
This game is very expansive. After you’ve built Gigarad to be quite strong and unlocked a lot more characters (through the story, parallel quests and other unique ways) play with viewers, whether that be missions or PvP battles

That's why I assumed it would be based on the special. The title is also called "Bardock - Alone Against Fate" which could be a reference to either version of his story, but with the context of the teaser I think that's a reference to his stance against Freeza. The teaser also shows the scene where Bardock and his crew lands on that planet before they take it over.

Depending on your super soul, you can do a limit burst, which is a kind of "get off me" move that knocks people back momentarilly, people mostly use it to escape combos or to increase damage. Also, super front jump is an evasive move. You use your evasives to get out of big attacks or combos. As for ki/stamina costs. if something says it cost 100 ki, that equals 1 bar of ki. if it cost 200 ki, thats 2 bars of stamina. you can recover stamina faster by standing on the ground or some kind of surface. "key item" means you got a dragon ball.
almost every super uses 1 bar of ki (orange) a few select supers use 2 or 3 and some supers you can hold the button down to continue firing at the cost of further ki usage ultimates use 3, 4 or 5 bars of ki as a base some ultimates like revenge death ball or emporers death beam will then use all your ki revenge death ball uses 3 bars of ki but if you hold it, it will then charge your ki till you stop holding it or reach full ki then it will use all your ki to further power the ball emperor's death beam uses 4 bars of ki to initiate then gradually uses all your ki as the attack continues and continues. snap vanishing uses 1 bar of stamina (blue) evasive techs give you invincibility frames and usually put some distance between you and your opponent. depending on the evasive they will use 2 or 3 bars of ki. the evasive skill Force Shield can last longer but will drain your ki after the initial stamina cost. limit bursts only work if you are equipped with a super soul. they give you a brief moment of invincibility and knock back your opponent then add a passive effect that varies on the soul. examples include: auto heath/ki recovery, super armor, increased atk damage, auto perfect block, and more. these passive effects don't last long maybe idk 20 seconds or so
You need to complete all of Elder Kai's training exams (in front of the school) if you want to improve as a player. Those training missions team you pretty much all the fundamentals and some advanced mechanics. Xenoverse is an average game when it comes to story/solo play. But competitively its the VS Battles in multiplayer that make Xenoverse great, it has some of the most addicting/complex fighting mechanics of any PVP brawler.
You might get a dragon ball if you beat a time Patroller with a super attack normal punch’s won’t work also heads up with the dragon balls you can wish for A new charcter they are hit/ssj4 gogeta\ice shenron/ nova shenron/ and omage shenron Or money Or tp Metals Or a super/ult attack Or to level up once Or a new outfit Or to Re-customize you character form the ground up or re set your skill points
its honestly easy to get a dragonball. just make a new character, skip through dialogue and cutscenes, do the first time patrol against raditz and run to the school and fight sanud for a dragonball. delete character and repeat. like a 5 min run each go.
