I am a resident of Akhnoor (Jammu) and it's really inspirational to watch someone doing such sacrifices for the Nation, Jai Hind❤🇮🇳
I met an IPS named Pankaj Darard (IG SSB) whose 2/3rd body was burnt due to IED blast in Kashmir two and half decades ago. I met him few years ago while doing my job as a salesperson. I saw both of his hands, particularly left hard had 3rd degree burnt skin scars, when asked he told me that horrendous story- how his troops were ambushed.
Tremendous amount of respect for those brave sons and daughters of mother India. 🙏

I am a Kashmiri pandit, we have faced this in my childhood. Local people were like zombies, as if we never had been neighbours. Every KP has been mentally traumatized, no Govt,no administration. You can trust snake but don't trust muslim in your life time, this will be anyone's biggest blunder. My friends were Muslims but they where planning some big for militancy about which i was knowing.

As a jammu resident , i can for sure say that vaid sir's regime of as a DG j&k police , was one of the most strict and disciplined period in jammu and kashmir policing. Now wonders why he is so popular and respected among masses here.
His tenure saw the highest casualty phase of J&K Policemen, and was removed unceremoniously after families of policemen were abducted.

In blindness of "liberalism" and bhai chara, we should never forget that first thing our neighbors are trained since birth is to hate India and keep Kashmir burning. But times are changing, with our current govt since 370 abrogation Pakistani state leaders ki lag gayi hai. You might have 20 reasons this govt not doing right but these are national and important issues for which they took brave steps. Current govt should come again, for at least next 10 years. Pakistani media and political leaders are scared about this hahahaha ye khauf rehna chahiye.

I'm Kashmiri Pandit & I tell you jis din govt of India sabhi KPs ko resettle karegi kashmir mein woh din worst day humare liye. Sabhi 808 families Jo kashmiri Pandits ki kashmir mein left hain unko resettle out of kashmir karein govt, he humari maang hai.
Best part is where Vaid sir described the importance of social/civilian defence system as Village defence guards.
Many ppl disregard Bajrang dal type of thing but in fact it is very important. Bajrang dal is another name for civilian guard sys. These things must be appreciated n cultivated all over the country

Kashmir muslims didn't face ANYTHING bigger ..
In 1993 there was this young soldier in BSF bandipura, Bandipura BSF camp was flanked by 3 LMG post on a hilltop behind the camp, this soldier was deployed in one of those posts. There they had no toilets, so one morning he went to relieve himself and he was called by a woman saying that she's being chased by a bear, he went to help but that was no woman it was a male terrorist. He was kidnapped in next few days. He was tortured. Nails were hammered to all his joints of fingers and feet, eyes were gouged out, acid was poured on his face, while he was hung upside down. Cuts on his abdomen and finally shot. 3 days he wasn't found finally DIG BSF got so angry he cancelled the convoy got almost all troops out, with mortars and all heavy weapons. Almost 400 troops. But alas his body was found in a drain. Don't remember his name but he was from Howrah WB.
Edit:- don't ask me how I know it. I have other stories to tell too.

@@kunalchauhan3697 ok this one is a bit different this is not heard by many people, around 92-93 in the area nearby Wular lake (one of the large fresh water lakes) there was this phenomenon, people were getting slashed at night, forces were in high alert, the rumours were there was this 9ft tall entity with huge nails, knocking at doors at night and slashing them. The combined forces of BSF and Army (RR was not there) comb entire area , but nothing was found ever. And as it came it vanished, psyops or something sinister nobody knows. But those few months were quite tense cuz amongst IED and Militant ambush there was something else lurking.

Being the resident of kishtwar district, i am happy that at least what happened in kishtwar at the peak of the militancy is coming out open because as a child in the early 90's we were always hoping that people with mics and camera would bring to the world these heinous crimes which were never shown even on the national news channels or in the newspapers. It somehow gives a satisfaction that people are acknowledging the fact that these types of incidents really happened and if we are not aware enough will keep happening with the change of power and governments.
