I'm from Nepal.
My grandfather (17 years when he enlisted) and father served in the Indian Army. My grandfather fought in the Second World War, and he told me many war stories with various levels of energy and enthusiasm. He recalls those sleepless nights filled with hunger, fear, and zeal for victory. Although he has mixed feelings about the war because many of his close friends died just before him; some were so young and had just joined the army, and some came after a vacation or marriage. He sometimes laments, saying I should have died there. Those moments hunt him in his dream. Other than that, he had a great time cracking jokes with his colleagues, doing physical training exercises, and playing games. My father has also fought multiple wars against Pakistan. Both of them were from Gorkha rifles. Despite wanting to follow their footsteps, they wouldn't let me join the army because they knew what a soldier's life was like. Having fought so many wars, both of them agree on the fact that war should never be the solution.
We owe your father and grand father as an Indian sir. Koti koti naman.🙏

I am from Pakistan and i want to meet this legend and want to apologise for the unethical behaviour of our ancestors. He is absolutely right there is literally little to no difference between common people on both sides of the borders. Listening to this legend’s stories felt as similar to listening to my own grandparents stories. Very emotional. Fuck these borders and politicians and haters. I believe this concept should be introduced at the elementary school level to build a more harmonious future.

My Grandfather was a WW2 Veteran...He joined the Indian Army in 1944 and retired as Subedar Major in 1969.... After independence he saw action during 1962 and 1965....He took his last breathe on 14 June, 2021...Upto his last breathe he always regretted that why our country was divided into 2 parts...He served in Bengal Sappers, Corps of Engineers....

We jaats mostly love to be in army My grandfather fought in 1971 and 1962 war captain Pratap Singh Ahlawat Village Dighal haryana and my great-grandfather subedar maan singh fought in world war and in 1947 war and my tau ji subedar Ajit singh AHLAWAT rajrifles fought in 1999 kargil war❤
And from my Village many army jawans and officers fought in freedom of India with subhash chndr Bose in aazad hind fauj and in every war they fought and my Village has veer sainik yadgar bhawan in my village also
My ancestors were also from Dighal ❣️

6) (Sura 9 At-Tauba: Ayat 23) - Those who celebrate Allah. Do not make your father and your brothers your friends if they are more dear to those who follow other religions than those who believe in Allah. Who among you will make them your friend, so will be the tyrants
7) (Surah 5 al-Maida: verse 57) - Those who celebrate Allah! Do not make friends your friends to those who were given the book before you,those who have made your religion a mockery, and those who disbelieve
8) (Sura 33 al-Ahzab: verse 61) - Wherever the heretics are found, they will be caught and put to death
9) (Surah 21 al-Anbiya: Ayat 98) - All those who believe in religion other than Allah are the fuel of Hell. you put them to death
10) (Sura 32 As-Sajda: Ayat 22) - Those who do not believe in the verses of the Qur'an are criminals. you go and take revenge on those criminals
11) (Sura 8 al-Anfal: Ayat 69) - The booty that you received by killing the infidels, including the women (sisters and daughters of the infidels), eat it as lawful and holy.
12) (Surah 41 Fusilat: Ayat 27) - Therefore we will surely make those who refuse to accept Islam, to experience severe punishment,
13) (Sura 41 Fusilat: Ayat 28) - Burn the heretics in the fire who do not believe in Allah15) (Sura 9 At-Tauba: Ayat 111) - From those who believe in Allah, they have bought their lives and their goods in exchange for the fact that there is a paradise for them. If they fight in the way of Allah, they kill and are also killed.
14) (Sura 8 al-Anfal: verse 65) - O you who believein Allah. All Muslims do jihad. If 20 Muslim men gather, then it is equal to 100 Kafirs(non-believers). Kafir is foolish
15) (Sura 5 al-Maida: verse 51) - O you who celebrate Allah. Do not make Jews and Christians your friends. They are each other's friends against you. Whoever makes them his friend, will be from among those people. Surely Allah does not guide such Muslims
16) (Sura 9 At-Taubah: Ayat 29) - Those who do not believe in Allah and declare the Messenger of Allah as haram, fight such infidels (people of other religions) and give them power wherever they are ruling. Take it out. and collect jizya from the infidels where you are ruling
17) (Sura 4 An-Nisa: verse 8) - The unrighteous (all those who do not believe in Allah) people want all Muslims to become unrighteous. No Muslim should make such unrighteous people his friend. My salute to you sir and to all our soldiers, who fought for us, who are still fighting for their country and whosoever will be joining army in future. You are our heroes. Jai Hind. My taya g...my dads elder brother, was captured in Pakistan as a spy during 1971 war and spent next 14 years as a prisoner of war , he was brutality tortured and was released in 1984.
He was physically and mentally retarded due the torture he has faced. He never received a single penny from the government after his return and stayed with us until his death few years ago...
