Honda BRV is sadly an under rated car. It is an awesome car. People still have a bad mindset over mobilio and keep comparing BRV with it. It sells well in other Asian markets. You will never get such a practical and a good car with a brand name of Honda with that money! I think it's a honest feedback. Thanks Motor Octane! I really appreciate Honda for developing such an awesome product.

I have purchsed BRV-V model on 2018. New model. Currently I have drove this car about 12000 kms now. and still has no noice, no lag, no problem in offroading, and avreage milage. about 14 to 15. On high way it gets me 20+ on Petrol. Very comfortable on all rows. Value for money. One downside is since it is not top model I didn't get Touchscreen and Rearview camera. sai teja Hi, i would blindly recommend you the brv because of the level of refinement honda has put in its engine and ride quality. Moreover, anyone would agree with this that the brv looks absolutely astonishing and mean when u compare it with renault lodgy. When u will drive the brv, u wont feel as if u r dragging a 7 seater, it just zips through traffic and bad road conditions! Hope this helps, take care
I was one of the few who have purchased it as soon as it had reached the showroom. Its a pleasant car to drive whether its city or highway or even hills. Power is good and mileage is excellent. Space is also adequate though thigh support is not good. I have driven it from Mumbai to Delhi and Mumbai to Goa multiple times with AC on and I don't find any issue in any of the trips except adjusting few times due to less thigh support. However its having lots of downside also. Review covers almost all downsides, but it has even more issues then that. Its width is very less as compared to its length so while driving your elbow will rub against co-passenger while shifting gears. And its build quality is also not up to the mark. Its gear are hard and in water logging condition it starts getting stuck. In rain visibility of glass is very poor. After 2 years you have to shell out hell lot of money on its maintenance. The main reason it has failed in Indian market is because Indians want bigger SUV whereas it was designed keeping Japanese mentality of utilizing less space for more. Also it was based on Amaze platform instead of City which adds one more dent to its appeal.
Another demerit it suffers from is lack of reasonable boot space to accommodate luggage of all 7 people traveling together particularly to long distance.

On the basis of all facts & figures Honda Brv is proved a smart SUV. Others like creta, duster, S Crass are compact SUVs but not as smart as BRv. It is also a matter of fact that BRv has discontinued but others are still in the showrooms and few are selling like hot cakes. Definitely brv did not pack with touch screen, reverse camera (R cam) in the beginning and added later, but these are not the whole things. Brv is having 2 seats extra which is more useful than touch screen & R cam. Touch screen & reverse camera can be implanted from out side but 2 extra seats can not be implanted. Other SUV designers mostly concentrated on one seat (driver's seat) only but designers of brv are concentrated on all seats. Friends, there are no any universally accepted definition of SUVs. Different experts, diff. Peoples, different nations are having their own definitions . Brv maximally fits on variety of definitions of SUVs. Honda tried to give a smart useful 7 seater SUV in price of existing 5 seater SUVs. Despite of having lots of useful qualities BRV failed to attract majority of indian people , reasons are multiple, may be Weak marketing, lack of awareness in customers, destiny related factor etc. There is needless uproar of offroading in the market. In india only 1 to 2 % people go for offroading. They also not go for it very often. Peoples are very busy in their onroad works. They travel point to point and also wishes to travel on smooth plane roads. So, for indian peoples (except forest and army officials) needless to search for 4WD . Front wheel derive ( FWD) vehicle is most sufficient for them. Brv, creat, duster (except few models), S cross all are FWD. Brv is a stylish, stable, powerful, comfortable, spacious, mileage frugal & peppy smart SUV. If we look for a little comparison between BRV, Creta, Duster, S Cross then we can see the Brv is the most qualified SUV over others. A) Ground clearance - Brv 210mm, creta 190mm, duster 205mm, S cross 180 mm. B) Tyre size - 16 inch for all. C) CC - nearly 1.5 for all with few minor differences D) Average (petrol) - between 15 l. to 18 l. for all E) Kerb wt. - between 1100 kg to 1300 kg for all
@@terminator1201 , mileage purely depends upon style of driving & road condition. As a user of petrol BRV , I have got the mileage between 13 to 18 km/liter. There is no engine noise like other small cars & sedans. It is a low maintenance vehicle and service cost depends upon the works you go for. For general servicing and oil changing , it takes approximately 4000 to 5000 rupees. If you go for other works then the cost goes beyond to this. Resale value is a matter of condition of the vehicle and ones style of dealing with the customers. Honda's this ivtec petrol engine is very excellent in performance , mileage & noise, i think among the best in the segment. Design of the vehicle gives high class of stability and safety on any road. On hilly roads and on narrow roads no problem. Brv is very stable , powerful & faithful on any road. It is a monocoque SUV , that monocoque design gives high class of safety, stability, aerodynamics, lightness to the vehicle. Regarding the size of the vehicle, turning radius is very smart &.
