    CAREFUL viewers.
    Several pictures included in this video are NOT of Québec city (although most are). Some pictures of the landscape, of museums and of the parliament show elements from other cities in Canada.

      The most striking to me was the "Saint-Lawrence River" shots where they show the Thousand Islands area, located about 500km (300 miles) away from Quebec City. Another funny one is the "Trait-Carre Charlesbourg" while describing the Fudgerie in Quartier Petit-Champlain. The Trait-Carre is a very distinct area worth visiting, also in Quebec City but totally unrelated to the Petit-Champlain.

    • @Guiboard
      @Guiboard 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Quebec City relies a LOT on the tourist industry, so most of the people you will meet there will know English. All the restaurants in the busy area have an English menu, the exhibits will have information in French and English. If you know just a few words in French the people will become even friendlier. Things like "Bonjour, ça va bien?", "Au Revoir" and the curse word "Tabernacle" (pronounce Ta-bar-nak) will make a difference in your day, even if spoken with a strong accent. I hope you get to visit and enjoy your stay.

    Yeah...the smiles...what a joke. The moment they realize that you don't speak French there that smile spontaneously gets flipped upside down.

      I visite that province often, i can't speak french. Also everyone tries to speak to me in english, always super nice. And when i visited Toronto everyone acted so fake and smug.

    Why would you put so many pictures from MONTREAL !?! Just put pictures from Quebec, you should find plenty.

    Wow, I was thinking of visiting Quebec City and then I found this video. FIRE YOUR EDITOR! I don't need to see generic pictures of families and soldiers, show me the city and the attractions. You talk for 30 seconds about the funicular and I have to google what it looks like and see it in action. 2:39 why am I looking at a shipping barge off in the distance? 3:03 why am I looking at a waterfall? 4:42 why am I looking at 3 balls? The list goes on... And the cheesy, distracting transitions! I don't usually leave negative comments, but seriously, FIRE YOUR EDITOR. Crazy.

    This video is just so full of wrong images and information. As a resident of Quebec City, I cannot believe just how poorly researched this video was done. Photos of people and places that do not have anything to do with Quebec City are abundant. And don't get me started on the narrator's very poor pronunciation -- not just of French words (which I could understand seeing that the narrator is obviously not a French-speaker); but also of some English words.

      Don't waste their time. Don't go. They don't need stupid tourists who cannot make the difference between "wanting" and "being able".

    As beautiful as Quebec is just be aware that the Quebec Government treats their English citizens and immigrants as 2nd hand citizens. They have stripped the English of their rights.

    Not going back, too many speed cameras everywhere. Nothing like a speeding ticket of $140usd a week after vacation. Ruined my experience and yes, likely my fault but they are everywhere so one lapse and no leniency.

    This is a bad video and you should feel bad about it. The frenetic editing was obviously done by someone who had no idea what the city is actually like, it's filled with unrelated images and it's a terrible list. No mention of the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the Aquarium, the Montmorency Falls, the Iles d'Orleans itself, and many other places? There are far better videos out there.
