Neighbor is givener on peas here as well. The other Neighbor was spraying wheat tonight. If it looks like it won't rain I'm going to knock some grain down.
@@millionairefarmer.Most of the barley is dead ripe but there is some green crap... second growth stuff. But yeah I don't want to drop it if it's going to rain.
At the RME combine clinic the other day the Macdon rep said to make sure there no pressure on the single point hookup when you connect. Apparently oil can cut the seal if things are pressured up. I’ve had Macdon headers for a long time never had issues with them leaking. Knock on wood……
@millionairefarmer. We don't need much. Going to change the gear box oil on the header of the 9600. Also I'm going to take a half link out of the feeder chain. The caseih's just need some light servicing.
Single point hook ups are fantastic, the biggest thing with them is when you are attaching them to the header be ever so careful and clean it and drive it in as slow as possible I've never had one leak yet, you can hear it release pressure when you hook it up slow and thats what you want rather then the pressure releasing very quickly , it will blow seals , thats my experience with them anyways
@@millionairefarmer. I like to point those things out but at the same time what happens at this farm isn't always the same everywhere else, relating to a swather attachment i have 0 experience with those specific connections as I don't think our headers have been removed since they got put on upon arrival of purchase haha our m155s have been top notch for us
Howdy my Friend, How are you wearing a hoodie when it's been in the 30s for the past several days, here in Alberta 🥵 Please share your secret, how your staying cool 🥵 lol Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friend, Peace
@millionairefarmer. lol glad your enjoying the heat, in the meantime, right after chores, I've been indoors, enjoying the air-conditioning, before evening chores lol I just hope nothing breaks down, so I don't have to go back out in the heat any longer than I have to, so glad we got baling done 3 days ago
Guys are combining around here. My buddy started up on peas today. I’ll start baling straw behind him pretty quick I guess.

Looks like rain in the forecast. Peas are coming off here too I guess and some barley. I might swath some peas if the weather looks ok

So are you supposed to crack all the lines going into the single point hook up every time?
Good evening Robin 🍻👍

Good evening. I managed to walk around 2 of three combines this morning.... yep they are still here. Lol. Joking aside I made a list.
I haven’t even started mine yet. Hope it runs like it did last year. I detest combining. Lol 😆
We try our best to get them into shape
