But aaah! They are still out of budget. We feel like a small boy who passes by a candy shop 🍨 everyday but can’t have one ice-cream.

Do you know what happens to the display pieces that you see at big electronic stores? All those smart TVs that fill the entire wall of the shop? Or that sexy 16” MacBook Pro on display?
Yes, you can get those at 20-30% discount! Don’t believe me? try next time you wanna buy some high end electronic item like laptop, smartwatch, DSLR camera 📸 or even a trendy mobile phone.
You may have to put up with a battery performance that is somewhat reduced. Also, warranty period may be lesser than usual. But those are adjustable things IMHO if I am getting a 30% discount. 🙆♂️ What say?
Caveat: You can only do this when the new models are out. For example for Apple you can go during April and September to ask for display pieces of the previous models.

Don’t buy devices with OLED screens from the display as they will show sings of permanent burn in because the display pieces always stay turned on in static pages.
They constantly play the display so it doesn't burn and OLED don't burn quickly.

Battery health will be even worse (not 2-3% difference) coz the screen is turned on for almost 24/7 and is plugged into charging, just ensure the battery life before purchase.

I did same thing. Bought a 83k lenovo yoga slim 7 laptop for 56K with all warranty (3 years).
I tried this trick but store manager said "dude if I give u display piece for discount I have to wrap open new product for display which nobody would buy like u so it's loss for me"

Idk how many people are smart enough to do this but an accounting trick i learned from my degree is. When you are buying an expensive phone or something try adding more things to cart like tablets or wireless headphones to see if they are giving discounts on them.Usually if you buy main device they give you a good discount on other devices. Then see how many you are allowed to add to the cart. Look for any student discounts to stack on this or any sign up discounts on apps or smthg to make the order as cheap as possible.Later use your phone and sell all those other products close to or slightly under retail price. Sometimes you might be able to get the phone free or even at half price. But the only catch is to do this you will have to borrow some money from your parent or friend and slowly pay them off as the stuff sells.
Also major tip before you place the order make an add for the stuff you are getting cheap and see the immediate offer you get for it if its more then the dicounted price by margin place without worry.

Its not true, a display phone will be always charged and continuously used for a year which will decrease battery and motherboard component lifetime drastically then normal scenario. Its way better to get a refurbished phone.

Refurbished products are more dangerous than display one.I had purchased one refurbished laptop and it stopped working after one month. Total waste of money.
Since refurbished products have already some major issues. It's better u can buy second hand then.

Display pieces have demo software installed which isn't for normal use

first of all, The stores Will not sell the product which has been recently kept on display, They will sell only products which are old and only have 2-3 months warranty left
Since they are kept on charge the whole time the battery is affected
enduring store hours which is from 8:00 a.m. 10:00 pm , The display is continuously on which means the display is also affected
there is no sense in buying a display MacBook which was 80k at a 20% discount when you can easily get a good offer during sales such as Flipkart big billion day deal or get it without bill in any shop where warranty is also available
