We could dub this series, "Confessions of a Cluttered Crafter"! I never thought of myself as a person who hoarded a lot of things or who kept a cluttered home. However, I am having to face some hard truths about myself when it comes to downsizing and decluttering my spaces - especially my craft room. I could get overwhelmed, but I've learned that dividing up a large job into a series of small jobs makes it easier and more likely that I will accomplish my goal(s). Join me as I tackle condensing my craft room a little bit at a time!

Congrats on 5k subscribers! And good luck with your decluttering. You will feel so much better once you're done. I am in the U.S. and my favorite crafting tool is my paper trimmer...since it was free!! My job used to award points for work anniversaries and random things to be redeemed for rewards via a website. After accumulating quite a bit of points, I checked the site and found I had enough for a heavy-duty Fiskars paper trimmer. I've had it for a few years now and it still cuts like the first day I got it. $80+ trimmer for free. Cannot beat that!
I am really looking forward to the mental freedom and extra space in the house once this is done. I'm going through the rest of the house too, but off-camera. When I tired of one area, I have other places in the house I can choose instead, It's coming along....
I love my paper cutter too. How great that you got if for free! Good use of the points. I have a heavy duty Fiskars cutter too that I enjoy using every day. I don't think I will ever get rid of it. Love that it's self-sharpening. 💖
Congrats on hitting the5000 mark. The ribbons that are wired that you really like but don't use because of the wire, remember that wire is easy to pull out. I am a lace & ribbon collector (not horder) and recently had to go through and do what your doing. It is hard but necessary.
I sometimes try removing the wires, but this time I needed some perameters to help me purge. 😀I also realized that I don't care much for the 1/8" ribbons. I learned a few things about my preferences in this round which will help me make better choices on what to buy in the future. 💖

I think the crafty stuff is the hardest to get rid of too. It represents unmet dreams and ideas that we have to admit will never happen. Yes, much easier to declutter our coffee grinder than my paper and books waiting to become journals. Sigh. 💖

Wow, you were so brave and ruthless in today's video! Great job! I'm in the middle of tax season where I work right now so I will have to watch again in May to get myself motivated. I would have to say that my favorite tool is paper punches and I'm in the US.
Paper punches are really useful, especially the ones that punch pretty edges. Good luck getting through tax season. I wish you many happy hours of crafting therapy after it's over. 🥰💖

Congratulations!!! The decluttering is so fun and great inspiration. My favorite tool is my smaller cropadile.. I have wished for the larger one. I am in the USA.
The cropadile has been a real game changer for me, especially for setting eyelets. Yes, this decluttering is becoming addictive. Sometimes I go back to an item I've kept and realize that I can let it go too. It's getting easier and easier. 💖

Thanks for the inspiration, I am trying to do the same but keep my workspace intact. 😂 I win the prize on the most ribbon rolls, I used to decorate towels and clothes but for the most part its neutral colors so they could be used for anything as a accents. Commenting from New Hampshire. You're doing a great job. It's so hard to get rid of things when you can see the potential in it all. I guess my favorite tool is my paper trimmer. It's not the most fun one but I really need it because I can't seem to cut a straight line with scissors. Congratulations on reaching your subscriber goal and thank you for the generous give-away.
I can't cut straight either. So thankful for paper trimmers too! I agree, it's the loss of potential plans and ideas when we let the supplies go. Maybe it's harder as an adult. I don't recall being like this as much when I was a kid. It was easier to pass things along then. Thanks for watching! 💖
