The images in the book are inspiration based on what I have. Just a showing of how to couple similar items together. I find them on Pinterest or Google. You can type in white shirt and black pants outfits or white pants and blue shirt outfit ideas and so much will come up. At the top of Google click on images and you will find photos based on what you searched for.
I couldn’t find your website for the printable…please let us know where we can find it. Great idea!
You look good in everything!! Loved the fashion show and seeing how you plan outfits. I used to think a "capsule" wardrobe was a limited number of items , but now understand you can have more as long as everything is inter-changeable and a limited number of colors. Great job!
I see it as colors that you love that all go with each other creating an endless selection to create outfits.

Melissa. Your packing list with the weather icons is genius. I don’t care what your family says. My family also calls me Mamaw Stewart as in Martha Stewart.Ha ha I too am a giant list maker. I have one for everything including evacuation. Here on the Texas Gulf Coast we often have to leave due to hurricane and there’s lots of things that need to be taken and things that need to be secured in the house. I worked for one of the worlds largest chemical companies for 31 years and had to do lots of travel. I got to where I could really pack well and was using the capsule wardrobe idea before I know what it really was. You look so adorable in all your clothes. I am envious of your figure. Love in Christ

Love seeing another person who is Uber organized when packing. I spreadsheet it all including adding the low and high temps for each day. When we traveled to Colorado, it was high of 24 one day, 20 the next morning but then we would be at 60. Really helps when packing jackets. Now I just need to pretty it up like yours and add pictures. …off to start planning for my July trip. New viewer here. Great video!

Your packing list makes me calm and happy. I’m mostly very laid back and go with the flow at the last minute, but there’s an inner Type A that comes screaming when I trip plan.

How do you actually coordinate keeping the clothing clean in-between wearings?
I just pray a lot. Hahaha. In all seriousness, I have shout wipes in case of launder emergencies. I have really never had any trouble.

With the compression packing cubes, are your clothes wrinkled when you unpack? And do you use an iron or do you take a steamer when you travel?
They are more wrinkled that what I would choose to wear in public, yes. I have a travel steamer that I take in which you will find in the next video.

Let me check and I will add it if it isn't there. Thank you for letting me know. The camel pants are thrifted from ThredUp. 85 percent of my wardrobe is thrifted from either Savers (like Goodwill) or ThredUp (a consignment site online).
My spreadsheet has the weather for the morning and evening and what activities or dining plans we have. And I color code the clothing. 😂 4:54

So glad to see you feeling better and looking great. I have been working on my capsule wardrobe ever since I started watching your channel. Taking a trip to Cabo in the fall, so it is wonderful to get such good travel advise. I can be a super organized gal, too; however, do not have a lot of space, so I am sure the capsule wardrobe will certainly help with that as well. Keep your Vlogs coming, girlfriend. Loved the weather info addition. Your clothing style is casual, classic elegance, and you looked great. I always end up with a bulky bag of dirty clothes at end of trip. Where/how do you pack that? And, do your underthings and pajamas go in a compression bag?
It all goes back in at the end of the trip just like it came. No, pajamas are not in with the daily clothes.
I really like this system because it allows you to create beautiful put together outfits without lugging a ton of clothes. I seriously consider doing this myself because it’s a constant struggle when I travel. I tend to overpack my suitcase and then I don’t even use everything I take. I often find myself having to go buy new clothes because it’s too hot or too cold or I forget something. My problem is that I wait till the last possible minute to pack, even when we have a vacation planned ahead, I digress and then stress over it at the last minute. I’m currently on a weight loss journey so I told myself no more clothes until I reach my goal. I have a serious problem with clothes shopping especially when it comes to my kids.
I find that if you don't have a plan of what you want the end result to be, it is much harder to stay on track and stay focused. I would decided what colors you love and then from there find inspo for outfits based on those colors. Then go shopping. Don't go shopping without a plan in place.
Hello Melissa! Your style and my style are very very similar and I wanted to find out where you got those white cigarette type pants with the belt loops. You wore them toward the beginning of your Tryon area and also your jeans that were straight and cut off more like an ankle length… May I please find out where you purchase those?thank you and have a great trip!❤
Everything in my try on was thrifted. 90% of my closet is from the thrift store or ThredUp.com

Peri-menopause happened. Ha! Perry said, not anymore. My hair has created a mind of its own and a side part is not in the cards. SOooo, I guess I will have to embrace the middle part.

However, when I mentioned it in a couple videos back, I got so many comments about how the middle part made me look younger. Who knows anymore. I am just thankful to have hair at this point.
Great video! So helpful. I tend to check a medium-sized bag when I travel, but these concepts can easily be adapted to a larger bag that can be expanded to bring treasures home. I love your neutral color palette and classic, timeless style. I have been rebuilding my wardrobe after a 40 lb weight loss and am trying to be more "intentional" about my purchases. I try to resist the busy patterns and bright colors that often go unworn and make me feel frumpy. Love how well your wardrobe mixes and matches. Playing with clothes is so fun. Good tip about trying on outfits ahead of time so further editing can be done. Have a great time!
