😂😂 I’m going to have to start using this.

God seems to be talking through you to me - or maybe He is? Your homily was spot-on for me today. Thank you for becoming a priest; not just for me, but for all who hear you. I know that there are even some who actually see you in person. Heard you gave a homily in NYC and saw you in the Eucharistic Procession. How lovely to be able to see Jesus honored so greatly!

Protestant considering catholicism here. So much more edifying than the Protestant church I attend with my anti Catholic parents. I want to join the Catholic Church but it since I still live with my anti Catholic parents makes it hard. Been depressed because of that. The rosery helps

Jesus loves you brother! Keep praying the Rosary, but remember no matter what happens, love whoever is in front of you. Love your parents even if they are anti catholic, and pray for their full conversion. Keep fighting and loving no matter what!

@@EthanConiker-oq1uy thanks. This homily was a reminder for me. Showed me I need to love and be patient. The protestant church has been very anti Catholic of late which has been making me bitter as well. I just need to love them no matter what

Saturate yourself with Catholic speakers to diversify your growth. Suggestions.....Brant Pitre....Fr David Michael Moses....both can be found on TH-cam.

All Catholic churches have Mass on Saturday afternoons usually around 3, 4 or 5 p.m. perhaps there is a creative way you could attend Saturday Mass at a local parish. ( you can still go with parents on Sunday). The grace and blessings that you will receive by attending Mass will give you additional strength.
      God be with you.

Ask Jesus to teach you to Love as he Loves! Even your parents. ❤ love those in front of you, where you are right now. Jesus can help you , pray for them. As you grow older and leave your parents home, doors will open for you to grow. We can live in ❤ live right where we are, love God He will lead you!

Radical acceptance of God's will above my plans - it's the way to go. I got to attend Mass in person this morning, but I wanted to hear Fr. Mike's homily too. God bless all who make these Masses available.

Meditating on St. Thérèse reminded me of the line from Schindler's List, "he who saves one life saves the world entire." Loving and bringing someone to the Lord, saving one life, the one in front of you, means the whole world is changed for them, saved for them.

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”. Amen Jesus Christ is the Way and Only Way to Heaven. His Love for you is why he died on the cross. He is the answer. ❤️

It’s wild to hear Archbishop Schnurr’s name! My home parish is St. Peter, it’s where I came back to the faith and he’s been an indirect but major part of my last 4 years. It made me so happy to hear his name. Go archdiocese of Cincinnati!

I remember some nights ago, if it's not just yesterday, before I closed my eyes to sleep, I asked God in my mind, "why would I get to marry if You alone, Lord, can complete and satisfy my longing?". I was just so sure He would give me an answer in His way.
Now I know Fr Mike's homily today is one of His answers for me 😊
Thank you Father Mike. I'm praying for you and Ascension. ❤

Thank you so much, Father Mike, for your wonderful sermons and especially this one on love. It is beautiful, wise, and so helpful in learning to walk in the love of Jesus. Your sermons have really blessed me, encouraged me and helped me so much. I just heard the one you had on humility. That was a real eye-opener, so anointed, and a great help in daily living. I have passed it on.

Thank you, Father Mike, for your in-depth exploration of our callings and your analysis from so many different perspectives. A difficulty with love is when one person refuses to love the other or pursue God in a united way. But I see how it is then even more important to pursue peaceful united love, no matter how difficult.

This really speaks to me, you do have a gift with homilies father. But my husband left me over a year ago. I have prayed for reconciliation and continued to love him... At what point do I let go? At what point am I no longer loving myself by holding onto a dream that may never happen? I get that marriage is about giving what the other needs and I feel born to do that. But when you have someone not willing to try... to walk away from vows... it's hard to know when to move on.

There is only one plan for your life. The Plan of Salvation. The path to take to get there is different for everyone and you have many choices to get there. Your choices should be made with prayer and if you have a good source to talk it over with. You need to always strive to be the best you can be in any path you take. Never feel used or angry if you have helped someone and they betrayed you but make your decisions with discernment. Don't feel guilty if you did your best and failed. God will use that knowledge down the road. If you feel called to the religious life definitely check it out before saying no. If marriage is your calling be prepared to share your time and everything else in your life.

Please add: We choose who we marry. If we make the choice and the commitment then we need to consistently work towards that commitment.
Being forced into a relationship with someone that is not of our choosing and is not someone we'd ever freely choose or is chosen for any reason other than love will NOT work.
