Fassel wouldn't change the way Tiki held the ball. Coughlin made him carry the ball high and tight and Tikii had his best years under Coughlin. Barber almost cost the Giants this game.
I was at this game. Seats close to the side of the end zone where Shockey caught the TD. They cut out the best part where he talks it to Dawkins right in his face.
I was at this game. The Giants outplayed them but had multiple tds called back for phantom penalties. I say phantom penalties because during the broadcast even the announcers said there were no penalties. Add in Tiki fumbling 3 times and the game was much closer than the score showed. When Bryant kicked that fg the place went balistic. Sad part is their offense was on fire during the this stretch, they won r straight and were puttting up points against everyone. If not for the epic collapse the following week against the niners they couldve went to the superbowl. Unfortunately that was the last time this core of players were togther. In 03 Collins went down and they finished 4-12 and everyone was gone including Fassel.
In one of the few games between 2001-today, the Giants offense moved up and down the field at will, until stupid turnovers and phantom penalties took points off the board.
That's right. Keep up.this Giants tight end energy. Let the Football Gods bless us all with Kyle Pitts. Idc how unlikely it is gotdammit lol. Who's with me!? *_Giants4Lif3_*
For Philly fans the play that truly blew our brains out was David Akers, who was having a pro bowl kicking year, missing at 35 yards at the end of regulation to put the game away.
i think giants fans don't realize what they had in eli and how rare a qb like that is, never hurt, always there, and he showed up in the playoffs. im not a giants fan but when i think of that team i think of #10 ole easy eli
Shockey was the MAN back in the DAY! Dude was a beast! RESPECT! ✊🏾
I remember him talking about ton of trash to Brian Dawkins lol

May the month of April bring nothing but Joy, wealths, good health and happiness to you my friend “God bless you”

That 1st down celebration at 2:46 by Shockey was way too smooth and one of the best to this day.
Jeremy Shockey was a great story and a great player.
He didn’t have to scare that guy at 3:04😂
Shockey was my MVP in my Superbowl season Nfl2k5.
lol 1:08 I remember the eagles WR tandem I'd always beat Trash and Stinkston, didn't know they were any good
2:16 lol fumblitis
Shockey may be the last decent TE the NY Giants ever had
Don't forget kevin boss
@@jasperwilliams4058 Shockey had the chance to be elite though
Engram as a rookie was decent.
@@jasperwilliams4058 Boss was okay but wasnt as good of a blocker and wasn't as gamebreaking
I remember Shockey would lay ppl out flat on their back like Mike Alstott.😄
NYG fans who were ungrateful of Eli Manning will definitely feel pain for years to come.
Games like this is why Tiki Barber should forever STFU about the Gmen🤦🏽♂️
I always felt like Shockey and Barber looked at Eli in a very negative way. Im kinda happy he won that superbowl without them lol.
#Agreed
Love these vids keep it up
Big fan

Miami boys built different
Imagine getting 3 turnovers and only scoring 7 points
Reminds me of the 2019 49ers vs Steelers game where the steelers forced 5 turnovers and lost
Good job!
We all know what happened to the Giants the next week.
@Christian Brito no they lost to the 49ers 39-38 after squandering a 38-10 lead I believe that the Giants held.
@Christian Brito this was from 2002. Ironically this was also the last week 17 game Shockley played as a giant

On my bdawks head 🥲
I don't understand why they wouldn't have the date of this game in the description or title
2002 week 17
I miss Eli…

I do too but this video didn’t feature him since he wasn’t in the league yet. This video is about week 17 of the 2002 season
Barrow don’t understand personal space lol
war damn eagle
Shocker #1 but boss wasn't bad
Seeing as the NY giants current number 1 draft pick TE can’t catch a ball nor block. I sure miss good old shocky.
What year is this?? Where’s donavan for eagles
2002
Williams missed tackle?
