I love how this entire theme embodies Colress being the "grey" of this game. Sure this isn't a Pokemon Grey, but he sure as hell is the inbetween line for whichever way it goes. The theme just has this way of conveying so many different emotions. From the darker aspects of his goals to the brighter ones in which he can see the viability of trainers unlocking the powers of their Pokemon through love rather than forced methods. But in the end, he just wants results. Either way, badass theme.
After beating the game I noticed, that he has regular trainer music up until his final battle. When you get to his final battle, this music plays, and reveals himself to be the boss of Team Plasma. At around 1:20, it REALLY sets the mood for this battle. It's just amazing. He's my new favorite character.
Well yeah they're pretty good, but there are a couple exceptions in recent gens that make me wonder if they're starting to run out of ideas :P Ice cream cones, key ring, trash bag, etc

Whenever I saw the Black 2 trailer, I was sure Colress was evil. As I was progressing through the game, I was adamant he would befriend the character to gain their trust and then turn against them once he was closer to reaching his goal. I was pretty shocked to find out that he wasn't evil.

In truth I don't think Star Force is making a comeback anytime soon, though I have seen a couple more SF videos lately, and not just the show, so I guess maybe it's making a small comeback.
+VD Peruvian I don't think it would be a good idea for a Starforce 4 to be made, though. SF3 had a good ending, and it would just feel like they're making it for the sake of more money if they were to make another SF game.
ChillTerumi should've continues the show both in English and in Japan. A shame the English dub only lasted 13 episodes, and the Japanese dub stopped at SF 2.
These were some of the best games I’ve ever played. I loved Gen 5 from the moment I began playing it and they were the first games I beat. The music, the story, the amount of times I was emotionally invested, crying with sadness and joy, even still 10 years later, they’ve been in my top 3 favorite games of all time. I loved the soundtrack to the second games so much. I have almost 200 hours in Black 2 that I dare not delete, so I’m planning on buying White and White 2 if I can find them at a good price, because I want to play through them again.
This encounter with Colress and the battle were probably my favorite part of Black 2 since I went in blind. Beginning the fight with that music was soooo epic.

This is perfect! This is how I imagined battle music going for my battles as a kid back during gens I & II. This song's so modern and yet nostalgic in the sense that it reminds me of music from late 90's/early 2000's. idk, I just really enjoy this. As does the 11 year old subconscious version of myself.
When I heard this theme starting, I really felt like the most epic battle in history was about to start. For a game as Pokémon, they really needed that. Black/White and Black2/White2 are both incredible in the aspects of music and story in comparison to the rest of the franchise.
