This never maked sense to me. Saul and Mike bugged Walt's house over peanuts. But a control freak like Gus is not going to bug the house of Jesse? Doubt it.
Honestly killing Gus would not solve their biggest problem, the Cartel knows about them especially the Salamanca’s. Even though they aren’t a threat anymore they gave that info to the cartel and if Gus is killed then they can still go after them to make them cook for them or kill them for disrupting their cash flow. Looking at the big picture it’s a miracle they killed Gus as the cartel was defeated.
It’s bizarre that killing Gus didn’t cause more backlash even after some of the major players of that particular cartel were assassinated. Obviously someone took their places
It was really good timing on Walt’s part Gus did all the hard work taking out the cartel goal that he achieved after 20 years. And it was all brought down in just couple of months by an ex chemistry teacher.
@@hampton8474 indirectly, Gus could take out the cartel thanks to Walt: Gus initially saw Jesse as a worthless addict and it was Walt who trusted him. In the end, Gus realizes Jesse is valuable and truthworthy (proving Walt right) and takes him to México to teach the cartel's cooks, and Gus ultimately gets his revenge.
